Pause on Zone means when you load into a lot the game pauses instead of just diving right in. I use it because I like to see what's going on and queue up some commands for my sims before they go off.
Perfect! I'm going to change that so I can have a second considering I'm often hitting pause for that exact reason.

This was just recommended to me today. Very clear and helpful, and nice to see a.Simmer closer to my age. I'm 62 and I started with TS1 when my teenage kids told me about it. I started TS4 in November and I'm having a blast.
Oh wow, I’m so glad my video was recommended and you found it helpful! My then teenager got me hooked on 2 I didn’t play much during the 2 to 3 transition because I was having more babies. Now that they’re almost all adults (14, 18, 21 and 28) I have much more time to play and love it!
I love connecting with older simmers. I have a lot of favorite channels but I don’t really think they could be more than mid 30’s at the oldest. We really should be represented more. We’re usually are the ones with the time and money but it feels like we’re a bit forgotten.
@SilverHairSimmer Yes, I follow several also that are maybe 30. I also have 4 kids, but my baby is 36. I started with Sims 1, bought all of the expansions, then moved on to S2 qhen it came out. I moved away from gaming when Sims 3 was coming out, so never played 3. I guess my 8 year old granddaughter plays the mobile version. But I'm loving 4.
I know how to use MCCC but subbed because your vibe is so good lol

Will you be doing a video for the careers? I used to know how to adjust the employment settings, but I can’t find it now. Too many unemployed townies 😅
I can do that for sure. I’ll probably go down the line and do all categories. I’ll for sure learn new things in the comments that are working for other people too! I do hate it when everyone you meet is unemployed 😆
I'm going to have to go through and try some of these settings, especially the game time speed. I use pause on zone. That makes it so that anytime you load a lot it is paused as soon as it stops loading. I use that one sometimes because my 6 year old will need me during a loading screen and I don't have to worry about my sims going unpaused and dying lol.
Ohh that is a good one. When I play off camera I’m always running to switch laundry over. Mom-life 😆
@SilverHairSimmer I think my game sits on pause more than I play sometimes lol. But still wouldn't trade mom life for the world.

@SilverHairSimmer ik. They are 18, 16, almost 15, almost 13, and 6. I'm trying to enjoy the last few years before they are grown. The older ones have grown up too fast and the youngest is doing the same.
@@Ladysimwolf OMGosh yes!! I have 28, 19, 17 & 13. Next year I not only don’t have elementary age but I won’t even have middle school aged kids. 😳

Hey! I changed the game speed to 35 which i really enjoyed but the calendar is absolutely messed up. Everything is pushed and holidays are messed up… is it normal?
I’ve not noticed an impact beyond events that day or so. Honestly though, it very well could and I’ve not noticed 😆
Hello! I found your video looking for information on the game time speed option for MCCC, i find your video helpful but i did have a question for someone that has experience with this mod.
The mod author stated on their site that increasing game time speed would also increase the time it takes to complete actions. Is this true in your experience?
I would love to have more time in the day but it seems it wouldnt make sense if the interactions take a long time to complete as well.

There are a lot of things that you can adjust, like the time it takes for homework, personally I’ve not noticed a difference in the things I haven’t changed.

There’s a setting for you to stop certain autonomous actions, unfortunately they don’t have for toddlers or infants
I Love Mccc but all of my Npcs women are pregnant but they are not delivering the baby (they are pregnant until I come to their household) what should I do?😢😢 it is really annoying
OMG that’s wild, let me look around at some setting options. Is it possible that you’ve extended the amount of days of pregnancy to some wild setting like 372627 days 😆
Hiii, how would you get more sims to be pregnant or population wise.
I am pretty sure you can go to pregnancy and there are options there to increase household sizes and % of NPCs that will be pregnant.
How long do you have your teen lifespan at? I think you skipped over that
I’m firing up my game now to be sure. I think my teens are a day or two shorter than EA’s
EA has it as 21 and I have mine at 18
