Ur right, syn does put a lot of time and effort but don’t be tricked, with OP rates any mediocre player could make this progress in a day or two, let alone using commands.

I think it'd be a great improvement to have the microraptor's dismount attack only work like 1/3 of the times it hits you. That way, you still have to worry about them, but it's not always instant rage if one sneaks up on you. Every time one hits you without dismounting you, it would be an 'oh damn, that could have been bad, what a relief' moment, which is actually a positive gaming experience. 1/3 ratio would keep you having more positive experiences than negative, but it would still screw you over frequently enough to remain a threat.

@@CallenExile I could get behind tying it to fortitude if it was balanced better (although it might already be better, I'm going off of Ark SE numbers). You have to put so many levels into fortitude to make it worth it that most people don't bother, in my experience.
AFAIK you only get 2 fortitude per level at normal rates. So you'd have to sink 5 levels into it just to get a 10% chance of withstanding a microraptor hit, and that's honestly so little that to most people it won't feel like much. 90% of encounters would still leave you irritated, as well as thinking, "Why did I even bother with this stupid fortitude thing if it never seems to help?" I almost think it would be worse than leaving it at 100% because you'd still be getting consistently dismounted _and_ you'd be constantly reminded how much you regret wasting those levels on fortitude.
I think combining fortitude and O2 into one stat might help. Both of those feel too much like a waste compared to the other stats. If you could pile all of those levels into one stat instead of two, you might be able to pump it enough to make it feel worthwhile.

Yesterday/early today when I was playing I found a 145, a 150, and a 140 direbear in that order, with a trash 145 bary (it seems to have a godly food stat) and assumed decent 130 frog in between. Alas, all my bears are male, and I haven't found any 100+ level females
Health could be better but overall a pretty decent bear. Great damage
with the new pathing ive noticed it is much harder to entice creatures into water, over cliffs and near traps. some creatures even seem like you have to hold them by the tongue to guide them into traps or out of their "comfort" zone. the Alpha raptor @38:40 is a good example, as long as Syntac was swimming it didn't aggo on him even while shooting, but as soon as he stepped into the shallows the Alpha immediately started pathing towards him.
The dinosaurs tend to swim out of deeper water even when in active pursuit of a player in my experience.

Funny thing: This might be a new change in the game, I don’t know, but when I was playing ASA I saw two queen bees flying in the beach, far away from the red woods. There is a chance that you now can randomly find them flying somewhere

@@user-mx4ui3lb8mit’s not even out on consoles yet, so I doubt it will be out for a long while if it ever comes out on mobile- it likely won’t run very well on mobile unfortunately with the graphics. There’s no release date

Happy BDay🎉🎉, also Syn the elevator stops at the bottom higher than normal because youre riding the mount. The elevator stops at the level your character is on so its gonna stop high when mounted. Keep up the great work!!

A strong Domorph on my shoulder was super helpful against the horde of bats in the caves....still pack lots of antidote though
the first map i played in ark was valguero, and i fell in love with that redwoods bioma, even thoug i didnt have a pc to play with top graphics, but looking this in ascended is astounishing
You can dodge thylas when they jump from trees. Not sure if that was always a thing and I didn't notice in ASE, but it's certainly possible in ASA.
Direbears in aberration were my main mounts, they are absolute units. My diabear went toe to toe with at 150 alpha crab, and came out the winner.
I love the idea of Syntac using his giant bird too prey on cats. Syntac reverses the food chain.
I've been having similar crash issues, a non-dedicated servers with inventory related tasks. Opening multiple inventories or even my own too quickly after being in another one can crash it. Transferring too many items with the transfer all button can crash it, using the search on boxes with a lot of items in them can crash it. Very annoying, but hey that's why we're in an early access game huh?
I had the same issue but zero crashes after i disabled menu transitions in settings. Maybe you can try that if u haven't already

You can also get a bee queen easily for a honey. They roam freely without a hive in the ravine west of Hidden Lake Region. You dont need anything at all just a flower. I always just run at them without any ghillie and tame em by spamming E.

You've probably already tried this but I was also getting the inventory crash when searching or transferring large numbers of items. These 2 things basically eliminated that or me.
Setting->UI->Disable menu transitions
and in console ark.VertexCountScaling 1

The level doesn't matter at all for the mutations of wild babies. Mutations work differently in asa. I found a lvl 17 allo and raised it to add its health mutation onto a higher lvl health of 40 pts. (so its now 42 points)

i had the inventory crashing issue too, try selecting the disable menu transitions option. I haven't had any inventory crashes since turning it off.
I think they nerfed Thylas, because I didn't pay attention to thylas ONCE while I was in the redwoods for about two hours, and I skillfully (accidentally) dodged about 10. There was three who jumped at me while I was parked on my argy in the span of 20 seconds, and none actually pounced on me.

Man I feel that Microraptor incident. Earlier today I died and almost lost my best mutated bary to a microraptor appearing out of nowhere and knocking me off in the middle of a fight with an alpha raptor, whilst also being attacked by a 125 Thyla and swarmed by a pack of raptors. Managed to put my bary on neutral just before I died, and came back to it on a sliver of health. I’d assume that was the thyla’s doing, as that bary has decent health.

Helpful tip about points into stats max level 180 on ASE vs level 150 on ASA. Because there’s no speed levelling in ASA, the amount points into each stat is almost identical minus 1. This means that a good level on ASE with the max level of 180, for example 50 points of health would be good and 50 points in ASA with max level of 150. They’re basiclly almost identical.

The loot on mobile has also got better I opened a blue drop and got a ascendenct rifle that does 483 damage. Now I’ve been playing ark for years and blue drops have never gave me loot like that so I was completely intrigued. Recently I got another ascendant rifle that does 1081 but it’s very expensive.
Man im playing Svartalfheim with S dinos, Ark addtions, stack mod, cryopod, couple others on xbox S and couldnt be happier with life.😂
