- to sum it up, my parents always wanted to move to a country in africa, & after someone suggested gambia to them, they took a trip over here back in 2015 for vacation. the following year, we packed up everything we had & moved to the gambia, west africa all the way from little old clarksville, tennessee! crazy..right? 😅

Curious title: Sad News in the Gambia. " A dog died " vs Sad News in the Gambia; 5 middle age Afro-American women and 1 Afro-British have met suspicious deaths all within a year and a half. Most were known CZcamsrs, having businesses and active in the repatriation community.
I was saying the same thing none of them have even mentioned the deaths makes me wonder 💭 you would think they would’ve made a video about this instead of some onions 🧅 smh 🤦🏿♂️

I am so sorry Ricki and I can relate. My cat of over 10 years broke me when he too got sick and passed on a month ago. His painful cry just hurt me so much. I am still missing him so much and still call his name whenever I go downstairs. It was a blessing what you did for Foxy. You have a true love for animals.
What happened is really sad. I'm sure that she enjoyed the time she had because you saved her when you met her! And thank you for letting us know so we can be aware of things like this.

So, so sorry to hear about your personal loss. I remember watching that video when you found Foxy. I was glad to see your periodic updates about her progress. So sad to hear that she passed away. Though it was brief, at least you were able to have 3 wonderful years to spend with her. You made a major difference in her life, just as she did in yours. That's three extra years that you gave her, when before she might not have made it.
Blessings to you in your time of grief. May you be able to take all the time you need to heal from this loss, and be able to joyously move forward.

I love how taking care of your mental health is so important to you. Life is filled swift transitions, things on earth can be moved. Taking care of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health can really help stabilize us when times are unstable. Im proud of you for learning that at a young age. I think Africa has helped you from looking for this peace on the outside, but finding it on the outisde.
Oneday u was really depressed at work. It was a Friday. I literally left work and went to a car dealership to buy a new car just to ease my suffering. It has taken years to find that peace on the inside first.

I know whats its like when you lose a pet ive had one pass in front of me and another died of stomach cancer and i was not aware anything was wrong until afterwards and crazy thing was we were taking them both to the vet. But anyway i hope you start to feel better your not alone . ❤

I’m sorry for your loss. I recently got a dog who was a rescue and I looked up all kinds of videos. One said that when dogs hide themselves that’s a major sign that it’s going to die.
It could be stomach bloating/torsion in dogs, I'm so sorry Kiki, feel what you need to feel it's okay to not be okay, it's better to grief than lock those feelings away. Although it's sad, you gave her an amazing life and I think she's forever grateful..Her soul chose you and I believe she'll forever be with you 💞

So sorry and sad Ricki’s. My cat had similar issue, swelled up and peeing on himself. Vet said blocked kidney. It was a done deal. Iron held made her swell so big. Foxy was a beautiful dog.🐶 ❤❤❤
Lamin Lodge is a famous tourist attraction place where visitors love visiting to either have food, drink or take a boat trip around the creek as it has so attractive futures to see❤

I can relate to how you are feeling right now. As a child I lost my beautiful pet dog when he was only a tiny pup. Someone left the gate open and my puppy ran out into the street. He was hit by a car. I understand your sadness. She was a beautiful dog. Feel better.

It’s sounds as if she may have had a tumour in her stomach that burst 😢
My dog stomach got enlarged and I took him to the vet and that’s what I was told we had to have him put to sleep 😢😢as the vet said it would burst . I know this is a very sad and difficult time so sending love and strength to you 💛x

I can understand your pain. I lost a dog that was special to me. He froze to death before I could get him inside the house. I cried and still think about him to this day not about how he died but the joy and love he gave to me. It makes my heart smile to think of him. Your lost will do it for you as well. You will smile again.😊

This video isn’t related to that, however I do plan on making a video related to this.. I’ve seen far too many videos on this topic and it seems like it all has been blown way too out of proportion. I only know of one woman specifically actually reported to have been murdered, & the others had health issues allegedly. Please do not believe all that you see.
It’s a little scary & unfortunate how many people can put out such false narratives & have the public believing it all for the sake of views on their CZcams channel. It’s sad.

@@talkthethings7376ive heard multiple stories and seen videos of Africans looting Black American houses as the police there watched and did nothing. also them telling Black Americans there this isnt their land. This whole "unity" thing is really one sided and im tired of the fake love like its not.

Sorry to hear about your dog Foxy. Haven't been on your channel for a while so I didn't know about her. Did you take her to the vet after death to find out what was the cause, as it may be something that could affect the other dogs. Also it could be the reason she was left on the island (how cruel), and even though she looked so good for those years you showed in the pictures, it could have been troubling her. It would be good to know, but it is probably to late to find out now. Thank you for caring for her. I am not a dog/animal lover by any means, but I like to know that people are looking after their animals and not being cruel to them. May Foxy rest in canine heaven in peace. Amen. My dog that I rescued in Gambia looked just like Foxy, He was called KING.
He was such a beautiful soul.
Then was attacked and eaten by a dog that entered our compound. 😠 😡

While this also is very sad….. there have been 7 African Americans killed in The Gambia in the last few months. And a 7th as of yesterday. Most were women. 1 an arrest was made because she was as actual murdered. The women were your parents ages. I’m wondering if you and your parents will speak on this! Peace Love and Light!🖤✨

First off, I just would like to say please don’t believe everything you see! I’ve seen far too many of these channels spreading false narratives & making it seem like there is an attack on African American women. All of it is very sad & unfortunate, & I wish they would just let these women rest in peace, however you’ve got so many people spreading these weird narratives about it all when they aren’t even living here themselves!

I believe the title is something like that, but they did speak on it briefly in that video.
Truly, It’s all a very touchy subject to speak on, & honestly finding the right words without anyone taking it out of proportion isn’t the easiest. So if you see that we haven’t made a video on it just yet, there could be a reason.. & it’s alway with good intention.

Maybe life is busy for you, but her parents did touch on this. Corrections: the 1st person passing was in 2022 due to medical issues which the person had at the time of moving to The Gambia, year of 2023 (4) and 2024(2)So this did not happen within the last few months as you stated. In America 🇺🇸 since 2024 5000 the last reported deaths due to shootings. I chose The Gambia🇬🇲 The passport Brothers are also being having traveling issues in Columbia, so deaths are happening all over. We must be careful how we travel when we leave the west. The African continent is a whole different world a different type of beast. You do not come into another world with your western ways. You must humble yourself and learn the customs and the traditions before coming in with a boss mentality.

And these were GOOD SOLID PEOPLE. It’s easy to dismiss things as illness. That doesn’t fly with me. In Africa it’s far more easy to get rid of a person. And there communities of African Americans on the continent that look after one another. These women were doing great things to help locals and others. Don’t come with the death told here in America. I feel your pain young sista 😞 We (my wife and I) lost our cat named Wiggles in October 2023 due to a heart condition. We had her since she was 3 days old and my wife had to bottle feed her when she was a little kitten. We had her for 4 years.
She began having a breathing problem and she was panting very rapidly. So I googled it and it informed me that her condition was serious.
So we took her to one Vet after another, spending lots of money, trying to have them determine what was exactly wrong with her.
The last Vet we took her to said that we needed to take her to the emergency room right now because she had fluid on on heart, but she couldn't be saved. My wife cried but I held my grief in, although I was crying on the inside.
We ended up spending $900 dollars on her in a week's time. We had her cremated and we still have her ashes in a urn in our apartment. And we put photos of her up in my wife's sitting area and in our bedroom on my wife's side of the bed.
We miss Wiggles so much, even till this very day. She was part of our family, like one of our children. So, again, I feel your pain and mourn with you your loss.
Are there veterinarians available in the Gambia? She sounds like she had a bad case of worms.

Am a Gambian who lives here in Atlanta, Georgia, last year 7 Gambians died here in ATL. The Gambian community was asking for donations to send their bodies back home to the Gambia. They all ended up buried, here because the community can't come up with the funds. So is life. People die every day. i guess Gambia is not an exception. When your time comes, nothing can stop that. Healthy or unhealthy. Let's pray for them. May their souls ripp 🙏 instead of assuming false allegations. At the end, no one knows what actual happened. Let's stop pointing fingers like you were there and knows or saw everything that actually happened.Well How about those Gambians' lives? I guess they don’t matter. 😢😢😢😢
