Judy Cook it's not racist at all. Juliana was being silly like all of them used to be on that show. Dreads are not a "black thing". It's ridiculous. Zandea or whatever just took advantage of a situation to stay relevant. How could she have been "offended"? He mom is white. And if Zandea was offended because she said patuli or however you spell it that's a hippy perfume. I used to go to this little hip town called little 5 points with white and black hippies with dreads and smelling like patchouli. Zandea just needed some attention and destroyed this poor woman's life because of it.

I feel like the only person who could get away with this kind of jokes was Joan Rivers. They tried to make the same format for fashion police, but it obviously didn't work without Joan and it ended up costing Giuliana her job at E.
I can see why people were upset about Guiliana's comment, but I didn't take it to heart, because the Fashion Police used to get on everybody. They used to say some raw and crazy things especially Joan Rivers (RIP in Joan) so I was a little, not much surprised at the backlash towards her. I think Joan would have probably got away with the comment not Guiliana.

I enjoyed Fashion Police because it allowed all of us "pee ons" the opportunity to find fault in the beautiful people and occasionally reminded us about our own fashion pitfalls. We belly laughed....it was harmless and it felt good! So when Guiliana does it trying desperately to come off funny just like Joan Rivers we all join together to crucify her and of course bring up all of the same crap about her weight. We're all like vultures, picking her apart when she's down. Shame on all of us. It's getting to where everyone's afraid to speak for fear that they might offend somebody, somewhere that we never intended to hurt. Comedians everywhere are going to have to wear bullet proof vests!! Come on now people let's not make more of something just because we can.

Anyone knows Juliana she is truly sorry too. She is genuine. And I loved her on tv. Followed her during marriage baby infertility and breast cancer I think it was. She shared her life in reality in a true form.

Uhhh she tried to justify it by saying she meant Bohemian which isn’t a compliment and in no way should a common Black hairstyle be related to a term that’s derogatory and insulting to many. Then she blamed the editor. Apparently, she was given the chance to not say the comment as Osbourne recommended not to say it during their many takes and went ahead with it anyway. A true apology wouldn’t try to defend themselves and then blame others. None of it came off as sincere.

I remember during her reality show, her doctor helping her with fertility told her she needed to put on some weight as she was too thin and it was affecting her fertility. On her Instagram account, I repeated this fact to another person - regarding what I had seen on her and husband's reality show. She actually took her Instagram account down, temporarily and blocked me. I think she has an eating disorder that she denies. It's a shame.

The funny thing is that Giuliana is NOT the one to have said weed, Ms Osborne is the one that said weed, so why no backlash to her, and as a matter of fact, she is one of those that blew it out of proportion for sure. The whole situation feels like sabotage toward Giuliana.

It's crazy how people get so upset over some comments/jokes while there are some jokes that are so much worse and no one cares. I personally don't find a patchouli joke offensive, but I did live in Eugene Oregon for ten years. It's not a race thing. It's just a joke when it comes to dreads, mostly white people with dreads.
