Texan here. Very happy to see the border finally getting secured. Only problem is, releasing them immediately will only have them try again. I’d suggest a jail-cell for a week and a warning that if they enter illegally again they will go to prison.

Florida state guard doesn't fall under the Department of the Army. It's a state agency just like highway patrol. It's the same as the Texas State Guard.
State Guard aren't Department of the Army they're run at the state level under the Florida Military Affairs. Since these guys are more volunteer and on-call support for the guard they don't have the most up-to-date uniforms being a reserve state level organization. Some have the OCPs but not many but I believe there is a uniform revamp coming that will give them OCPs with red nametapes (to differentiate between Army and SG).

You notice how they don't mention anything about cooperation/ in conjunction with ICE/ boarder patrol! I bet the latter 2 are most likely shaking in their safe spaces/ cry closets 😂
