So happy for a new video. I absolutely love thrifting and finding new "old" stuff. Almost my whole house is thrifted, clothes, dishes, furniture etc. Just found an amazing chicken painting in oil with a beautiful chunky gold antique frame for $9. I also get candles all the time they are so cheap and burn them all winter. Happy Birthday, have a blessed year.

My good friend makes me crocheted cloths like that, but for kitchen use.
I love them so much because you can throw them in bleach or OxiClean and they always look great ! When I saw those little round things, I would use those as little coasters or to sit little jewelry dish or something like that on…they’re so pretty.

Thrifting has become unpleasant now. Most places, especially goodwill, charge retail price or higher. It sucks because it use to be so fun.
I think Value Village is the best, I know what you mean about Goodwill.

My grandmother would make me the same crocheted wash cloths, and I would display them until one day she came over and said, " I make these for you to use " I said I know but I just love them so much and I display them because I want to be reminded of you each day. Needless to say, she won the argument, but I wish I hadn't used them.i still have them, but they can no longer be displayed. I did on mine and was able to score some vintage French copper pots and pans( happy birthday to me!😆). Just be careful- the ones that aren't vintage usually have a laquer coating that has to be removed before using. I was wondering if those crocheted circles were coasters and not make up pads...?
