  • There were tense moments inside the courtroom Thursday as testimony continued in the double murder trial involving former social media personality Ali Abulaban.
    Abulaban is charged with killing his wife Ana and her friend Ray Barron. Thursday was the third day in a row Abulaban has taken the stand.
    For the majority of the day, the prosecution cross-examined him, during which time, there were a lot of tense interactions.
    At one point, Abulaban got upset when the prosecution accused him of yelling the word ‘respect’ while he shot Ana and Barron, something he denies.

      How can people be this clueless about how court works. The judge isn’t going to save this guy from himself. The prosecution is purposely trying to upset Ali so the jury can see who he REALLY is and it’s working. The judge isn’t gunna overstep and mess that up 😂

      “Now Brother Preston is soaring with eagles high above, because he lived a life of love. Yes he's flying way up high, because he was a supercool guy. He's gone away, too soon it seems, leaving behind his unfinished dreams. Yes we remember Preston Blake, a man with faith no man could shake. A strength no man could break. A character no man could fake. For goodness sake, let's eat some cake.”

    • @kateashby3066
      @kateashby3066 Před dnem

      🤦🏻‍♀️ yes he’s playing a game- he’s trying to show that he’s offended by these absurd accusations. Because innocent people act this way. Which is TRUE. However, he’s a terrible actor and instead of coming across as confident, he comes off as unhinged. Narcissists do not aspire to get the de@th penalty 😂 no one does, but especially not his kind. When someone behaves a in a manner that isn’t “normal” (like this) it’s either mental illness or a personality disorder. This dude is a raging narcissist desperately trying to manipulate the jury and failing miserably because he can’t pretend to be normal when he’s nothing of the sort. And DP in California? Are you joking? 😂

    • @kateashby3066

      And what… help him? Judges do not interfere with how a witness is acting on the stand unless it’s blatantly abusive towards someone . Ali didn’t direct his curse words at anyone, they’re just a part of his language. Tampering him down would HELP him win. Why would the judge want THAT? Why do you think the prosecutor asked him inflammatory questions? TO TRIGGER HIM! So the jury would see who he really is. The judge isn’t stup!d, he’s not going to interfere with that. And it worked- the jury got to see how irrational he is and the verdict reflects that.

He will spend the rest of his life in jail. Will he ever be accountable? Who knows.

    On Tuesday the verdict will come quickly. Guilty of first degree murder with special circumstances. And if you thought the trial was explosive,I have a feeling sentencing will be even more of a nuclear experience.He will not be open to victim statements or hearing his own dismal fate.Basically he will be mentioned in a cage for the remainder of his life Which is substantial,until they carry his corps out in a wooden box for his burial.And we all hope his new home will be quite displeasurable.
