I love how Wally is the only that doesn't face the camera and paints. It casts a sort of standout feeling among all the other puppets being happy and joyful.
Like it genuinely made me pause for second, it stuck out to me massively lol
When I got to that part it really does stand out
It makes it even weirder because you get almost used to him looking at you so him facing away and not even acknowledging hits harder than it should lol

What I love about Welcome Home is how immersed I get into the world BEFORE all the creepy bad stuff hits the fan.
I know this cheery world is going to begin crumbling apart one way or another, and I'm going to feel bad when it does because of how wholesome the world is, and how much character everyone has there.

FRRR I am a SUCKER for character first stories, I am so happy that we get to know them first and foremost and itâs much more easy for me to get attached
Thatâs what I really think makes Welcome Home special. Other franchises featuring childrenâs toys becoming sinister, such as FNAF or Poppy Playtime are super creepy from the getgo, which makes it hard to imagine children actually liking it in the first place. (And those are not bad franchises whatsoever, I like them both.) With welcome home, you get to meet these characters and actually see the appeal they had to their audience. Itâs super immersive, you can see why it was a childrenâs show; So when stuff began to hit the fan, it was super unnerving for me because Iâd already grown to love the happier side of things.
I really donât care about the dark stuff can we just keep this cheery muppets show. It could be a REAL HIT

To me, itâs almost like Madoka Magica that I only knew how something so positive and sweet can tumble down to fear and depression except weâre not sure how itâs gonna end in Welcome Home (would it be happy or sad or what?)
This is all incredibly canon. And Wally being the only one who didn't "interect with the camera" shows like How much he just pay attention to the other puppets when is necessary and when the Neighbor (you) is around
I think it's more supposed to be eery because he took the flower but wally is also known as the only one that directly stares at the screen and interacts
â@@Milk-ck1wv Why? Think about what we know about Wally. He paints when he's happy and you can see the flower in his hair. My interpretation of it is that he was happy about the girl's gift and was painting something. (Probably the flower he got.)

I like how fan made Welcome Home content can either be super cute or super dark and both fully work for the series.
What I like about this Animatic is that it FEELS like an animatic and not just a bunch of still images slapped together like some animatics do.

I just realized all the colors of the flowers are the characters' favorite colors based on what Clown said on Tumblr!! Amazing attention to detail!
I feel like this really matches the vibe of Welcome Home, because it really is sweet and endearing to watch, but there's these small lingering...moments. The house watching them, how all the cast is front-facing the audience, happy with their flowers while wally is the only one with his face obscured. Yet despite this underlying feeling, it's still an incredibly wholesome video!
Even though they do have canon voices, pinkies and skystars voice fits them sm

and just to let you know, that character who was turned away from the camera is wally, and there's something really wrong going on with him and his house as far as we know.
knowiing now that we know wally dissociates all the time now- this hits even harder

Man... Some of the welcome home content on youtube was already great, but this... This is one of the best welcome home animatics i've ever seen ! You did a great job bringing out each of the characters'personnalities and designs ! To me, both Julie and sally are cute and amazing characters, in fact, most characters from the series are my favorites ! But here, just wow, you just made sally stand out from the rest !

I mashed up youtube references of several dances, including the Charleston, Tap, and just thought of how hopscotch could be unnecessarily fancy. Planning where the feet go and all that. References are your friend!
