Female Heroes Need Better Mentors - Robyn Sayles - Ignite Podcast Movement 2019

To help an audience understand the classic Hero's Journey storytelling structure, I went looking for examples of both male & female heroes with great mentors and found that there were almost no examples of female heroes with great (or even good) mentors in modern media. In an era when we are beginning to understand the value of representation on screen and in life, female heroes need better mentors.
