Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return to star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, under the direction of Michael Chaves (“The Curse of La Llorona”). The film also stars Ruairi O’Connor (Starz’ “The Spanish Princess”), Sarah Catherine Hook (Hulu’s “Monsterland”) and Julian Hilliard (the series “Penny Dreadful: city of Angels” and “The Haunting of Hill House”).
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” was produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, who have collaborated on all the “Conjuring” Universe films. Chaves directed from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (“The Conjuring 2,” “Aquaman”), story by James Wan & David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, based on characters created by Chad Hayes & Carey W. Hayes. Serving as executive producers were Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Michelle Morrissey.
The behind-the-scenes creative team reunited “Conjuring” Universe contributors, including director of photography Michael Burgess, production designer Jennifer Spence, costume designer Leah Butler and composer Joseph Bishara, along with the director’s editor from “The Curse of La Llorona,” Peter Gvozdas, and editor Christian Wagner (“Furious 7”).
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is the seventh film in the “Conjuring” Universe, the largest horror franchise in history, which has grossed more than $1.8 billion worldwide. It includes the first two “Conjuring” films, as well as “Annabelle” and “Annabelle: Creation,” “The Nun,” and “Annabelle Comes Home.”

James Wan created 3 completely different theories on horror genre. It worked and even had franchises. Saw franchise is a brutal massacre horror. Insidious is about the other side of our existence. And The Conjuring is a exocism horror. What a talent !!
But there is something that gives me chills and ods about their cases. The case whit the Snedeeker family thewy invested in a house which later would be turned out to be a funeral house, the second the haunting in the Enfield England or England Amittivile, a little girl gets possessed by an unknown entity, and seemingly levitating, throwing object whit unknown force, and girl which was proven to be the school champion in gymnastics levitating in her bad, the people in that time were very superstitious. And about this case and the boy's parents have died he went to live whit his sister and her boyfriend Ernie, which the rest of the family didn't agree especially their brother Carl Gletzel which of whom stated that Loriane was a fraud, and the boy had really mental illnesses. Something odd?

my aunt got possessed once, she never went to church, just partying over and over, and the night it happened, i was in my mom's car and heard screaming inside my sister's dance class cause she was dancing, this was in like 2019 or 2018,and its a hill u have to walk down to, get into my sister's class, so i was hearing the screaming and i had to walk down the pitch black hill by myself and my phone flashlight, and here is where it gets real, so the dance door is like glass, so u can clearly see through it, i touched the door handle to open it and i saw my aunt screaming and running across the room, and she took her hand and slammed it into a 8 foot wide wooden bench(thick) and broke it in half, and my aunt never did any martial arts or conditioning training, she was an ordinary sweet woman, so after i saw that, my heart just started hurting, it felt like true fear, like i would have a heart attack, then she was dragged outside by my old cousin and great aunt, then my aunt was on the ground screaming and cussing, saying to let her go, she was pulling out little pieces of her hair, then they put some fire thing next to her, idk what it is but my aunt stopped and calmed down, then they drove her home, but the demon didn't leave, she started screaming in pain and started attacking the driver and my great aunt and my older cousin, but they held her the whole ride, then she stopped for good now, its like the demon is attached to the my sister's dance class and the area around it, you can not believe me all you want, but just know that these things are, they are just no joke and they are real, its scary and can kill you, my family and i are just lucky the demon wasn't strong enough and that it was only one demon haunting her, the other thing is ,this happened right next to my church, anyways I always pray at night now, so yea, have a good night/morning or evening wherever you are, just have a good day :)

If you ever come in contact with evil or possessed, spent some time and get back to your roots that are touch and smell the soil, water, fire, staring at the stars and give attention to your breath and how vast is empty space, evil can not tolerate the power of focussed/attentive mind towards consciousness, your problem will solve in some days and you come out to be a better person.

As much as I love the idea of demonic possession in a movie just imagine how horrible it would be if court actually would have believed this maniac.
This. Honestly a truly frightening movie could be made from the POV of living in a society where nonsense superstition almost gets a killer off.
Well the true story is that he ended up with a 10-20 years sentence, but only served 5 years because of his good moral conduct.

I am a big conjuring fan and I read about this case years ago and now they are putting it on film and we all seen the first trailer and it was awesome but now this makes it more exciting and seeing Ed and Lorraine back in it is fantastic. There is no other horror movie can match the conjuring universe and it’s better outside the haunted house and in a real life investigation and I am wanting to see this most anticipated movie of the year !! 💯💯🔥🔥

This movie was insane and terrifying I watched it every single person in my family and we all LOVED IT!!!
So when they say they want to prove the existence of the devil and people being possessed are they referring to the devil in a broad sense representing all demons or the devil as in Lucifer himself as a singlar entity? Because it makes me think of comparing Valak to The Devil alot. Like imagine how powerful valak was and think about how large the disparity in power would be. Some rinky dink demon that attacks nuns and stuff compared to the ICON of all evil and sin since the beginning of time, said to bring about the end of days.

The bond between Ed and Lorraine just cannot be compromised, but the magic of James Wan is really missing in this film, truly speaking it's not at all scary when compared to conjuring 1 and 2. Its partially disappointing.

No, in Indonesia, almost all religious communities are always possessed by Satan, such as Muslims, Christian Buddhists etc.. but idk it's that real or not And there are various demons that could possessed humans, but it's tho much for mention

The Conjuring universe is the definition of true horror! I’m really intrigued by the stories behind it.
Read the trilogy 'House of Shadow House of Light" by Andrea Perron it tells the entire story of their ten year experience in the house. Much better than any of the movies.
