How many days need to use antibiotics?

I had lyme and a ACA rush on the lower leg, get doxycicline for 30 days, the rush is gone now, and still after several weeks after stopping taking antibitotics. I do not now if it is gone, but I presume it is because ACA is stil clear and is not coming back again, but time will tell.
