- Hey ya'll! As promised, today we react to "Darci Lynne: Kid Ventriloquist Sings With A Little Help From Her Friends - America's Got Talent 2017"! We think Darci is going to be an amazing performer in Vegas and we are SO excited to see her and Angelica perform together! The girls are definitely SUPER STARS!!

Darci Lynne has an amazing amount of talent. She sings well (on her own), she is a consumate ventriloquist and has (as Simon Cowell said) a wicked sense of humor. But what impresses me most is that when she animates one of her puppets, I actually feel like that puppet is really alive and has his/her own personality. That is a rare level of talent. I rank her with such icons as Edgar Bergen and Paul Winchell. She is truly amazing!
She just secured her win right there.. That was Awesome... 10+
You may know but this sensational girl is a friend of Jeff Dunham and throughout this contest has been getting advice from Terry Fator, Both masters of their art absolutely adore her. As for other friends, Darci, Angelica, Evie and Angelina have become close friends. I love the way Angelica behaved after the results were announced.

Darci is on tour with a great back up band Pelican212. They have been produ ing clips on Vegas,Nashville, and many other cities. At the end of next month it will be 1 year since she received the Golden Buzzer from Mel B.
I can see Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham mentoring the Young Performer Darci, The Ventriloquist community is very small and supportive of each other....In the final results Darci performed with both Jeff Dunham and Terry Fator with an Epic performance...
She is definitely strong enough to have a Shari and Lambchop type of show on PBS (as an on-going job)...only bigger because she has more voices and puppets. :) She can also do stand-up and family-friendly shows too. Her comedy and timing is strong, especially for her age.

Terry Fator says that this using two puppets at the same time with 2 different voices is one of the most difficult things a ventriloquist can do. He has christened her the Queen of Ventriloquism. He and Jeff Dunham are her friends.
Little amusing story, Darci went to see Jeff in a show and afterwards he made her promise not to ever use the sort of humour he does, I gather there was much amusement and giggling.
and here comes jeff with 4 puppets out and 5 voices (1 is his OG voice) and having a freaking conversation!! these people are so talented its unreal!!
I also remember Terry Fator stating why he got into ventriloquism and he said that it was because the singer market was flooded. The simple solution was to find a venue which no one had tried before and he turned to ventriloquism not just because he has a naturally fantastic tenor voice, it was also because he can do fantastic impressions. I know that Darci stated that she watched a lot of performances on CZcams and that Fator statement must have stuck. I'm real happy for her and the fact that Fator has beaten the much more expensive versions of Cirque du Soleil so many times as "The Best Performer in Vegas, " means a lot.
One I liked was when she came back to AGT champions. She was let go and they brought her back as a wild card. She has Petunia singing Opra. It was great.

Most of Darci's shows are sold out in advance. There is an 8 year old magician on 2017 Britain's Got Talent. Her name is Issy Simpson.

I have watched the videos of this little genius hundreds of times. Sometimes I shake my head to remind myself that the puppets are not real creatures. So then I make a determined effort to look at them objectively, and to see them as stuffed toys only. It always only takes a couple of minutes before I’m back totally believing they are real. Also in Darci’s Final performance, i’m blown away by how Darcy keeps looking at one puppet, while she is voicing the other one. Amazingly she does that in quick succession between the two of them. Also watch the faces she pulls at the puppets, as if to say, did you really say that. That may not sound like a big deal, but it’s just another way of brilliantly bringing the puppets to life. Darci has more talent in her little finger than anyone else does in their entire being. Also she is the only one of the top vents, brave enough to use the arm sticks, which she does brilliantly. In the Oscar sings to Mel be, performance watch how cleverly she makes Oscars paws hold the pretend microphone. How she can have all this talent and on top of that manage to be one of the most humble and sweetest young people on this planet is beyond me. Is it any wonder why I call myself Ricky Darcilover?

ya'll was talking about not knowing that Angelica and Darci was friends. it reminded me of a video I saw of their quarterfinals results that shows their friendship. it's just after 6 a.m. now. I just spent the last 3 1/2 hours finding the video for you. the title is "Angelica Hale vrs Darci Lynne--The Results Quarter Finals---Who's going to the Semi-Finals". Posted by Kamol Yawichai . It's odd that nobody ever compares Darci to Shari Lewis.
I've been saying that since her second performance and Jeff Dunham said she could be the next Shari Lewis.
I think most of the people on YT are too young to know about Shari Lewis and lambchop or her other puppets.
It would be great if all three would sing at the same time.
Great job, love your reactions. It looks like you're missing Darci's quarterfinals performance with Oscar, which was (shocker) amazing. I'd also highly recommend Light Balance's performances, unreal. They finished 3rd and some argue that they should've placed higher. If you want another singer, try deaf singer Mandy Harvey, also amazing and finished 4th. Finally, please react to Tokio Myers, winner of Britain's Got Talent this year. I won't spoil it but he is one of the most incredible and unique acts ever.
I agree about LB. I love Angelica, but she was all about cuteness and her amazing voice. All the other acts in the top 10, with the exception of Kechie, featured artists either doing originals, doing something that required amazing amounts of work and practice, or being able to do more than one thing. Even Evie played piano. LB and Diavolo were doing things I'd never seen before. Sara and Hero were amazing. Preacher was doing original bits. Mandy was doing originals. Chase was original. Really, Angelica and Kechie were the only ones in the finals not doing things we haven't seen a million times before. Angelica was novel because of her age, and Kechie was inspirational, but IMO they were actually the least original acts.
Great point. Although that's not to take away from Angelica, who's voice at that age is extremely rare - I think only voice/age combo in AGT history that surpasses her is Jackie Evancho (and some others come close). But yes, certainly not original. I actually would have preferred Light Balance to win if Darci were not so astounding, but she was and I could not vote for anyone else to win.
You should react to Merrick Hannah. He was on AGT this season also. Start with his audition video. Great reaction video btw.
Darci is going to basically wait until Terry Fator runs out his 10 year $100 million contract in Vegas. I can see her doing a lot of guest shows with him and Jeff Dunham. I think that Darci can only get better, if that's possible. I predict she will go down in history as the greatest female ventriloquist. If Fator isn't the most successful winner of AGT, he is right there at the top.
Not many know but there is another great female ventriloquist named Nina Conti. Her material is not all kid friendly.Check her out👍
Vegas could have Darci perform when Jeff isn't on. Only problem is she can't go in the bar and casino areas because of her age.
Angelica is a gem too. Backstage a reporter asked Angelica, ‘are you upset that you didn’t win. Her reply was, ‘No because my best friend won.’ Listen up adults, we need to learn how to behave from these young kids.

is alreaady confirmed that it will be 3 shows at the Planet Hollywood as the 2 of 11-3 and 11-4 were right away sold out, so they added 11-2, and also they will have preacher and Light balance asnd they might add more
niapor . The Vegas people allowed Darci to host the whole show, and to invite whoever she wanted, so it was Darci Who invited Angelica, preacher Lawson,and light balance.

Darci has a Halloween video with Jeff Dunham, she's doing herself and 3 puppets. Petunia, Oscar, and Edna. I don't know who made it but a blooper got past the editors. That's all I'm saying
