- I`ve been on holiday and what a gem I found! Ballater is probably the best place I have ever ridden with so many features to challenge any rider. I hope you enjoy the highlights and also special thanks to Dave and Sharron sharing their knowledge up here.... Enjoy......

Cheers Jim, I had great conditions up there to do this one. It really is a stunning area, the queen has a place about 5 miles away at Balmoral castle. A wee bit higher spec than what I was living in 🤣🤣👍🍻

Cheers mate. It's an amazing place up there and heartbreak ridge could well be the best trail in Scotland. I'm not going to lie I had a good think about that jump drop off lol. I was up there myself midweek and never seen anyone all day with no phone signal on a jump line not on trailforks. It was stacked again me but glad it went well. 😀👍🍻

High Flying Birds. Cracking tunes and a brilliant adventure Stevie. Heartbreak Ridge looked brutal in places and you made the jumps and drops look easy as usual. I fancied doing Heartbreak Ridge without the drops and jumps but do not think I will be able to do anything like that for a while. My back went recently. It's been niggling me a lot since the accident. Unfortunately I have two protruding discs so I need to rest as much as possible and hope that it does not spoil my week in Aviemore.. A fooking nightmare to say the least! Loved the video and look forward to more of the same. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
Cheers Stoozer, heartbreak ridge is more flowy than anything else. The only dodgy section is before the trees and is only for about 100m and could be walked. Amazing place! I hope your sorted for Aviemore and get to enjoy it. Glad you liked the video mate and there's much more to Ballater than what I highlighted in this video. 👍🍻
@@TWOWHEELFIX I'm doing intensive back exercises to strengthen the muscles around the protruding discs and back on the bike doing short runs so looking good pal...🤠
