@@DropoutJerome The boss has basic attacks but the hitbox are broken and the charge hits you twice. He also has basically 0 opening because he never, NEVER stops attacking. He's considered the worst fromsoft boss after bed of chaos
FWIW, bloodhound step makes dodging him much easier. Still hate the fight though, we shouldn't feel forced to use specific ashes of war or cheese methods to get past it.
I just hid behind fingerprint shield and poked him with the cross spear. Even had my mimic tear helping out. That said you can't be passive. Gotta keep the pressure on or he murders all the help before you take off enough hp to win
You can also run to that exact spot at the start of the fight and use the ash with the giant shield soldiers. They’re tanky and will hold aggro so you can attack him.
100% legit. This boss and radahn are absolute dog shit with their mechanics. It’s a shame they didn’t just make the fight longer and force you to do mechanics like block, parry instead of frame and pray the lingering hit boxes don’t destroy you between spam attacks.
Beat this loser 1st try with Mimic Tear somehow. This guy and Finger Mother thing were easiest bosses ever. Here I am now 50th try on Radahn and still no success😭

I had the thorns build, so I fully buffed up and hid in that corner and summoned my mimic and let him 3 shot the boss.

Something pvp related, iirc
Red is for constant invasions and blue are for constant "Hunter" help, Basicly it shows up that this area is having alot of invasion battles (PVP)
It feels like this expansion was made for having a shield with high guard boost. Its the only way to deal with some of these hitboxes on 6+ hit combos
