I will too but they are still very much the backbone of thameslink services. Plenty of opportunities to see them!

+StarlifeStudios I heard some of them might go to Southeastern.

The 319's are running on the abby line from Watford to St Albans but also run on the London Midlands line during peak hours however they have only got 4 319's (I think)

+Keiran Burden Interesting, I'd like to see one at some point at St Albans. Here is a London Midland one I saw at Northampton Siemens Depot m.flickr.com/#/photos/starlifestudios/22336160630/

I have allways wondered, why is it that on the 387s, they have lights on the pantographs?

I believe that it is Network Rail's aspiration to improve the way which the Overhead Line Equipment is monitored. These units are equipped with cameras which point at the Pantograph and record it so can be reviewed. I believe the lights are so that the video can be seen in tunnels and at night.

Right away we see 2 319s (4 stuck together in 2s) in opposite directions to work the 7 Oaks service, with one in SOUTHERN RAIL LIVERY! CRAZY! I hate First Capital Connect livery tho. Is that Matt at the beginning?
2 Class 319s stuck together on the Sutton - Luton service in different liveries.
Class 387 Electrostar working the Bedford - Brighton
    "10:10 Thameslink service" Haha.
    I won't list all services.

I always wonder why thameslink got rid of 387s, I understand why they got rid of 319s coz they are more than 30 years old but the 387s only just got into service...

I think it was just a temporary addition to add on to passenger capacity

319s in a southern livery are REALLY ugly.
