Yeah, the only way this would be Rotation Proof is that Wizards decide to Reprint them in Foundations and Duskmourn respectively, which would mean that it will not be Rotation Proof immediately but will be later The deal is, the Lunarch Veteran's replacement (Case of the Uneaten Feast) is also being played in the Deck and many of the other cards that do Life Gain, do so when they Enter and not when others enter
As some have mentioned, this is not rotation proof deck. Voice and lunarch veteran are both rotating out while being core of the deck. This however does not mean you can't build a lifegain deck post rotation. There might be a decent lifegain deck with bat subtheme. You put more Ruin lurker bats instead of veterans, you add Darkstar Augur and Zoraline from Bloomburrow and you got yourself a deck. Remove shit like preacher or gumdrop, add more virtues and voila. Loss of the voice will hurt the deck dearly tough. Personally found amalia to be better overall but nothing beat voice when it comes to closing out the game.
Yeah they are actually releasing alot of good bat orzhov lifegain energy in bloomburrow. You make a great point sir. It is gonna be super fun to play too.
Lifegain is one of the core themes of the orzhov bats in Bloomberg . Not worth crafting because this deck will definitely have other options in Bloomberg.
Absolutely been loving Dirge since it was released. Spree cards are so fun. Also, CGB is a great content creator, absolutely thrilled with these features. But yeah, the rotation thing is a slight off-put, but not as big of a deal everyone is mentioning.
This is a great example of everything WotC and arena. Rotation ready? Yet two of the main cards rotate. Why do you have to deceive us all the time guys???
Not sure why CGB thought ramp would be unwinnable. It only really plays a few board wipes for interaction and between case and the myriad card draw you are able to rebuild so easily.
Got a little disappointed to be honest. Not about the click bait "rotation proof" But as a content creator, you just gave us 3 minutes of nothing when the opponent abandoned the match at 15:30. No decision making, no actions from the opponent. Clearly a "void" content. What is the purpose or that? Love all the content but this was really bad
I literally would pull my non-existent hair out if I went up against you lol... I know it's a showcase but if that's your standard response time I'd be "it's your turn" non stop
Out of the 4 TCG I've played on digital, Arena is the worst. Mono red has polluted it. Boring to play and soul crushing to play against. You cannot have success with anything but meta decks. Homebrews are not a thing. 1000s of cards NEVER see play. Bunch of filler crap. Standard products have draft and commander cards slipped in. If you don't play those formats your not getting full value. Love Ya CGB. Mythic the last 5 seasons so I know what's up. MR rant is subjective but everything else isn't
Play Best of 3. Mono-red doesn't run rampant there and you can sideboard against it easily. Best of 1 disproportionately favours low curve aggro like mono-red and all in combo decks. Standard sets have always literally ALWAYS had draft cards in it and experimental rares far before commander was the main format of magic since every set is DESIGNED to be drafted, and rares and mythics are purposefully made to be experimental, weird, and powerful, so sometimes they don't necessarily make it in constructed. By the way homebrews are definitely a thing, especially in standard where most cards can easily see play. I've built four different homebrews in wildly different archetypes that aren't meta and gotten to high diamond in Bo3 with all them. Standard is the best format in magic right now, so I would recommend trying to make your own brew in Bo3 and you'll quickly see how great the format is.
Wizards put off rotation for so long they forgot what a rotation proof deck looks like
Ugh that game against the herd migration deck was incredible!!
Isn’t Voice of the Blessed rotating as well as Lunarch Veteran? That’s a lot of the life gain and it’s payoff to call this rotation-proof, no?
Genuine question - I like the deck but i’m a bit scared to throw the wildcards!
Yep, one from Crimson Vow and other from Midnight Hunt so definitely rotating!

I think this is just a mistake in description
I’m so ready for that domain deck to rotate
The atraxa game was masterfully played. A true testament to tenacity in a game of magic

For the algos... Thanks cfb, for the cgb.
Rest in power Lunarch Veteran, I'm going to miss you

SICK tech, cgb 👍
official mtg youtube channel btw doesn't know what "rotation proof" means btw

Clearly Wizards knows their own rotation schedule
Orzhov is a good start for a new standard. We can improve upon this.
13:06 Bat or Voice? Bat or Voice? - I think if we get the voice moving its our best bat here
> put out a rotation proof deck
> 15% of the cards rotate in two weeks
Lol cgb two cards are actually rotating
Might as well enjoy life gain now, before duskmourne comes out and screaming Nemesis makes it completely unplayable for 3 years.
Amalia is what finally pushed this deck to be playable, but voice and veteran rotating makes this NOT rotation proof

He died by combat damage with 4 Conucopias 😀
Game one plays lunarch vet 😂

this game is garbage galore
!

Dude, this strategy is so done and dead...please stop convincing magic players to build this dribble
trash game

You’re playing the wrong formats m8

Clickbait if I've ever seen it
