Great video. The older audience finds him entertaining on stage and don't mind paying to see him perform. The minute he challenges them away from the stage (at the poker table) he becomes a burden and needs to be gotten rid of. A play on "Children should be seen and not heard."

One thing I really love about his sound is that it's clearly very influenced by the melodicism of a lot of '90s/early 2000s emo and pop punk. Even some of the inflections in his vocals and the moments he breaks into screams really take me back to that stuff, which I grew up listening to. But that sound has been absorbed and re-purposed by Gus, re-shaped into a whole new indie/art pop idiom that is much more interesting/unique, more tasteful, and very fresh. Also, I'm really impressed with his lyrics. All around, a brilliant young songwriter. Sorry to geek out, but I've just discovered this guy and really love his stuff!
