We, the indian ladies should change our wardrobe from western style to traditional saris and dresses so that these hard working people get sufficient enough for their work and we can fetch the lost glory of our tradition and culture plus set example for our new generation also
These sarees are made in many centers in Andrapradesh. Dont be misled by the name of the video, they are not Banaras. Banaras sarees are made in Varanasi. The basic principle of weaving remains same, like you saw a plane weave saree with a border and pallu or the zari design on a saree. The zari design is made with this attachment to the loom, called a jacquard, which can make complicated designs on border , pallu, part of saree or all over the saree. These gifted artisans are experts in making the yarn ready, dye the yarn and weave it and finally finish the saree so that it looks good on the store counter and feels nice. There are various types of sarees ( thousands of them ) made in various parts of India and depending on the area the sarees are named as 'Banarasi', 'Kanjeevaram' ( made in Kanchipuram of Tamilnadu, ) Oria, Mysore silk, or by the type of saree like Batic, Ikat, Chikan, Monkalmuru, etc. Such a wonderful clothing from our beloved India
Wow, what an incredible process. I'm watching it and yet I still can't understand how those patterned designs get woven into the fabric. All that hand working seems well underappreciated. You people produce the most beautiful results. Cheers to all your hard work it's lovely.
Hats off to the people who are working so hard. We very easily bargain for price of a saree or any clothe material without knowing the efforts someone has put in making it.
We are proud of our country to have such crafts men I request gvt of both Telugu states to sopport such people instade of giving resurvations to rich BC SC and st gvt should support them by providing materials and farmers with seeds and varmicomposite manure that is made by waste in ghmc stop all resurvations please ambhetkhar has written constitution he mentioned to implement it for 2 years why politicians are taking advantage of this scheme for votes stop talking advantages of caste and religion go for election on supporting hard working and people don't produce lazy People you people put tax to indestralists and don't provide proper roads for them but provide free food to lazy People near roads

Forget about designer clothes. These saree's are in a whole different level. Amazing.
I wish you'd added captioning that explained what the workers were doing. It's interesting, but it could have been fascinating.
Months of Hard work & a seconds of time our women reject it .. oh so sad :'(
