Well he did basically disappear for 5yrs because he needed time away and too relax and de-stress...I mean think about it he had been going at it for over a decade dropping gold and platinum albums and #1 and top 20 hits out the ass for a little over a decade and you could tell around the time that he was 23 that he was running out of gas physically cause I remember seeing him sing the national anthem at anbaskwtball game and you could tell henwasnexhausted and gassed sndnseemed like the only thing holding him up was the microphone stand and even his voice sounded tired af...after that he dropped one more album and went on tour one last time and then left for 5yrs and is just now coming back
