I dont kniw the name... So i watched this video to get it... The only thing I remember is a Terminator (t-800) styled fighter with a second "phase" where he fights as partly endo skeleton when in second life bar... Sadly the only thing I can remember

I finally found the game I used to play about 22 years ago! Makeruna! Makendou 2 (7:53)! You put the exact same character with the exact same theme song I know by heart since I was 7 and I still hum around. I'm so thrilled!
MK2, Tournament Fighters, KI and Clayfighters were the best. Good memories.

I miss so much the era of the fighting games in the 90's. It was so damn fun, so fun. I remember getting the Japanese version of Ranma 1/2, and YuYu Hakusho, which I don't ever think came to the States. I still have them lol.

I only saw two games made in 1996. UMK3 and SFA2. And SFA2 was a masterpiece considering the SNES limitations. Makes me wonder if the right developers could've continued making decent ports of 2D fighting games on SNES hadn't not it be discontinued.

I remember years ago I somehow played this game. I believe it was intended to be semi-realistic in theme, and it was centered around a tournament for the arcade mode but there was some kind of single player where I was running around fighting some kind of military men. I think it might have been Japan exclusive.
Again I think it had only realistic moves, naturally there was some karate, tae kwon doe etc. but I believe you could build your own character, and there was a wrestler who had a side kick. It wasn't best of the best, and the artstyle was somewhat realistic/anime. Perhaps it was a romhack or something.
Sadly I don't think it was in here.

still couldn't find the game I was looking for, me and my bro used to play a old fighting game where you could be a cop, a fireman, a ninja, and I cant remember the last character I think it a guy in a denim jacket (as usual). you could play 2 player and walk around beating up goons or face 1v1 in an arena. I remember the ninja was OP as hell. he was either green or orange and would have a special where he would shift then cut you. if anyone can find this game that'd be a miracle.

You're probably talking about Fatal Fury (which is in the video). The girl is Mai Shiranui. You may want to check if I'm correct though. There might be another character I don't know.

Not all games. Theres this one i have been looking for a while, it has anthropomorphous animals fighting, one of the characters is called phoenix, it looks like an eagle robot or something like that, one of his air attacks have him turn into a disc or ball kinda like samus from meroid which in turn have him damage his opponnents with this crew attack. Can remember names from any other characters, if anyone can help me find out the name of this game i will be eternally grateful.

Fatal Fury also had former members of the original street fighter 1 team working on it, so thats quite closely related

You probably didn't see any wrestling game released after 1995 or just can't appreciate the fact that they were great in those times (especially Fire Pro Wrestling)

despite everything the super Nintendo had excellent fighting games like the legendary and consecrated mortal Kombat and Street fighter (other generic games were also very good as Killer Instinct and their "Fatality").
