Clearer picture of fault line off B.C.’s coast in recent study | Canada Tonight

There is a fault line almost 1000 kilometres long off the coast of Vancouver Island called the Cascadia Subduction Zone. A recent study published in the Journal of Science Advances advances the quest to understand when and where the fault may cause an earthquake. John Cassidy, the earthquake seismologist with Natural Resources Canada, says this is the ‘best information to date on this region.’
