This tier list is kinda confusing because the birthright item in itself is just improving some aspect of your character, yet you kinda dog on some of the birthright that make a character comfy or just better like azazel birthright that also can actually stack with brimstone item, tainted forgotten just makes the character fun and especially eden if you know how to manipulate the d4 effect to manipulate item pool and lock it with the birthright, also tainted jacob birthright makes it easier to play them because the two esau will charge together so you can time it better. Anyway the point is if you see birthright just take it you can't go wrong with it it's just a plus to your run and it's not like birthright have a negative effect on your run maybe you can ignore blue baby birthright (not tainted bb tho he is goated)

One heart container that doesn't drain sounds great, until you remember that the draining heart containers are the ones that don't lose devil chance. An extra normal red heart just means that at max HP you have one less usable heart to work with. F tier all the way.
Nah I disagree with forgotten. The soul and the body can be in different rooms. It’s basically like a free teleport. Free curse room. Accidentally error roomed? Just tp back to the body. I like the tier list. Except for t Lazarus he just makes me so unreasonably mad that you keep talking about how some of the birth rights get rid of the characters downsides when T Lazarus literally gets rid of the downside all of them the downside of tainted Lazarus is that you have to switch between the characters per room you get both when you pick a birthright, it literally does the definition of what you’ve been basing most of your list off of
i thought the same way as you at first, however i quickly came to realize that it really doesn't mitigate the downside, rather makes it slightly less of an issue something that people forget is that they only deal 25% of the damage they would be dealing, meaning that they're definitely still a noticeable increase however it's not completely mitigating the downside edit: watched more of the video, definitely see what you mean however i think that it doesn't completely negate it
Tainted edens birthright is actually one of my favorites because it forces the player to either hurt themselves to get a good build to keep it or to leave the birthright in order to use different items instead of locking in a certain set
Nah, Apollyon is easily d-tier. 10% is beyond low chance. So, you’ll be very lucky if you can get 2 items back, but also they are useless! I mean that’s why you voided them💀

For T Eve, you thought you just gain health back if your clots die, which is lame, but you forgot that it also means if your clots die, you’ll be able to pop them back because of sumptorium
All Azazel's birthright does is mitigates some of his attack hitbox being so small, it's just helping with his downside too, so putting it a whole tier above T.Isaac & Eve, and 2 tiers above the Forgotten & Keeper, shows heavy bias just based on character because they're all just mitigating bad traits to a degree and Azazel arguably does it worse than half put below him cause his range is still bad after getting it.
ima put my thoughts on this tier list (characters i don't mention i don't have anything to say) cain - you're severely underestimating the power of arcades on their own. with them being buffed, appearing more often, including on floors they shouldn't even appear on at all, and luck foot as a little cherry on top, it definitely deserves high A or even S eve - even ignoring the fact that it's really basic, a permanent +1.5 damage and +0.2 speed is really damn good, with the permanent dead bird being a fun bonus as well, should be B tier, even A samson - if playing samson by actively trying to activate max bloody lust is absolutely busted, you literally just said that a +14 damage up is C TIER, c'mon man that's like A tier even if you have to kinda work for it azazel - don't forget that this stacks with brimstone, alongside being really fun to use i'd say a is fine lazarus - how the hell is this A tier, most of the time whenever you kill yourself as tainted lazarus you're doing it as the last thing on the floor so the red stew effect is quickly gonna drain out, this is like b tier at most eden - 9 times out of 10 you're just gonna get an item which isn't even remotely as good as the average birthright of another character, but i guess you could pull a brimstone or twisted pair? should be B tier since it's so random also in my opinion its like, a really lazy and boring birthright the lost - you're kidding me? bottom of a? you seriously underestimate just how many items that the lost just does not benefit from, its why eternal d6 is a bit more palatable as the lost (cause the useless item disappearing wouldn't be any different from you taking the item) lilith - this basically allows you to make the absolute most of your familiars and turns them into a pseudo shot multiplier like 20/20, should be A (he moves it up to a later on so yeah) keeper - keepers survivability is massively increased by this, however this massively helps keeper in not being as frail as he usually is, and makes him less dependant on wooden nickle, possibly even making him able to ditch it. is it boring? yes, is it good? hell yes, A tier apollyon - it's cool, but you're voiding items for a reason. why would i want to take back the brother bobby that i voided? i'd say it's like c tier because it does allow you to gain more stats overall than if you didn't have it, but still the chances of the proc are also really low in general bethany - because extra usages of active items is bad, i guess. this varies wildly with the active item you have but this shouldn't be lower than b j&e - it's cool but really situational, i'd say its like b tier because you're not super likely to duplicate anything crazy, maybe a couple of stat ups at best t. isaac - the downside isn't really being "removed", more just highly mitigated. this allows you to squeeze in a couple solid items that you wouldn't have been able to. easy S tier t. maggy - same reason as keeper, A tier t. cain - this is an absolutely broken tainted cain. he's already a really good character if you have 100 years to spend on him, but this birthright lets him basically guarantee a won run, S tier t. judas - the range extension allows him to gain even more stats from his dark arts, A tier t. ??? - the extra space is really damn nice, however it definitely can be something you can leave or take, if he didn't shove it in f because of disliking the character then i'd say it deserves b tier t. eve - by picking up the red hearts again you can turn them back into clots, meaning you're able to maintain and keep your clots alive for significantly longer, a tier t. samson - the berserk is able to clear rooms really easily so this allows it to easily clear a whole floor if you're lucky enough, however it's pretty luck dependant so i'd say b tier t. eden - you seem to forget that you can hit yourself to get a powerful run and then lock it in, also d4 bug exists, s tier t. lost - with revives being so rare with this character even just one extra hit is a significant improvement to your survivability, s tier t. keeper - not only does this improve survivability you get SIGNIFICANTLY more money, this item basically guarantees that you'll be able to buy everything you want in the run, S tier t. apollyon - these are doing constant tick damage, s tier t. forgotten - making tainted forgotten be able to return to you significantly buffs the character, and also lets you quickly do back-to-back damage, s tier t. bethany - this birthright is incredibly shit, the wisps are inevitably going to die and will probably get washed out by the sea of other items you get with tainted bethany, c tier t. jacob - i agree with the placement, but the difficulty of dodging them is not an issue at all really, also this birthright buffs anima sola which lots of people don't realize overall this tier list feels really all over the place and feels less about how effective the birthrights are and more just about the wow factor they have, alongside being pretty biased at times (tainted cain and tainted ??? specifically)

tainted judas has a good birthright wdym??? If you’re up against a big boss that has a lot of projectiles you can catch more and increase your damage even more. Bigger number make brain happy so therefore is good item.

Actually sharp plug takes away a heart and a half and turns 1 heart into 2 so it generates one heart so you actually lose health
