Hi Kev, great video, a question for you I have a 7 plug with a seperate Anderson control plug. How do I address the stability control issue that you mentioned in the 12 pin plug. Do I run a seperate plug for this?

Hi Robert. We would wire the stability control in a 7 pin - Earth to earth and positive into pin 2. (make sure you have power from your car to pin 2 though) regards Searle's RV Centre

@@searlesrvcentre Good Morning Ben, Am I better to run a seperate Red Anderson Plug just for the Stability control, I am seeing some conflicting points of view on CZcams. Shalom Robert

Charging the battery using 9 and 10 will melt the plug. Ask any auto sparky. Use a separate Anderson plug. MOST new vans come with them.

Hi Kev, If you have large wiring from your van into these pins but the wiring from the car is thinner then that will create heat. The fridge is trying to pull more power than the smaller wirings can provide. So yes if you don't wire your rig up to suit best practice there will be side effects.
