As talented as Embiid is, he can't be playing behind the 3 point line for the majority of the shot clock. You're over 7 feet tall, idc if you can hit threes, it's not your job. Tobias needs to be gone before next season, and if embiid gets injured again, he should be traded for whatever they can possibly get. Maxey is your building point now

Exactly! Not that they were any good either. I was at this game. Left in the 4th quarter. Was so disgusted with the lack of rebounding. The Knicks out hustled them. This was a winnable game.
I get it Joel doesn't want to jump as much because of his knee, I understand. This is why we needed to get Andre Drummond back on the team from the trade deadline. Someone who can tough out a rebound when Joel isn't 100. Mo Bamba barely plays and Paul Reed needs to toughen up if he wants to be playing more minutes. It's gonna be tough, but I'm hoping we can scratch through Game 5, come back for Game 6 with more toughness and go all out for Game 7. Sixers in 7, let's go! 😤

Tobias Harris has a HUGE salary but plays so SMALL in crunch time situations. And why is our 7 ft star center chucking up ill-advised 3's from long distance when none of his teammates will rebound. Or try to drive inside to draw fouls.
Embiid had 1 point in a 4th quarter, which decided if we go back to MSG down 3-1 or all tied up. This team isn't winning a title with him as their star. He shrinks too much in big moments, he spends too much time looking for trips to the foul line, and apparently, all he's interested in now is taking cheap shots at the other team.

It’s not about being tough. They don’t have the right players as we knew. Embiid stood in the corner for 11 mins. What did we think was going to happen? Next season they need to target any combination of bridges , Paul g, Derozen, Siakim, olynk, dinwiddie. Get as many as those guys on this roster.
Bro, this shit is over. Other than the Butler year, this is the best mix of players Embiid has had, and it's the same story, but this time with Bell's Palsy. He's never going to get it done, and I don't even fully blame him because this ownership group and various management teams have done nothing but stack the deck against Joel while thinking they're helping somehow.
@@MattKibblehouseok, this season is over. Move on to the next. There’s free agents that will better this team. The only players under contract will be embiid, maxey , council. Reed has a clause that may free agent him. They can build a team a round embiid that can be better than when butler was here. This team was ok, but it’s lacking offensive power. When Duncan was getting older, the spurs had 4 guys on that team that could get their own shot, mixed with catch and shoot guys and definitely defenders. Embiid never had 4 shot creators with him in a roster. Real scorers he can lean to if hurt or tired. Add some combination of the free agents i mentioned in this team and bring back cam Payne and oubre. He won’t have to do everything. As for maxey. He’s good, but this is his ceiling I believe. I think you need him, but I don’t think his game is good enough to consistently just carry the whole offense alone. So they have to add a Siakim, Derozen or George. Players that have had consistent big games under their belt. The team has to be built so game to game, someone different might score 30-40 when called upon or just has to.

The ownership group has to go, plain and simple. I've watched maybe two total quarters all season, and I'll never fully watch or go to a game until Harris and the rest of his leeches are gone. Its just a repulsive organization in the way they operate, they have no sense of optics. Its so bad, and if the Commanders ever become a threat to the Eagles watch the support for the Sixers dry up real quick. I just hope these scum owners never get their center city arts and crafts project to come to fruition in real life.

Maxey races down court, but lay-up blocked by ref. Ref rebounds and is fouled. Ref sinks 2 FT. Maxey brings ball up, pees in his diaper and passes grenade to Embiid for prayer 3. Game over. Refs win one for Knicks.
