1:26 instead of tape you can also fold the iner layers in together to make a locking mechanism to hold the plane together just like how jayson merrill would:)

Just make a normal paper airplane then fold the point with the back of the wing and it will curve and maybe even come back to you.if the airplane is not going on a straight line then that's even better all you have to do is fold the back of the wing that plane goes that way and leave the other one and viola.

How to I fly it farther? I can fly it up (almost directly up) really high but I can’t fly it far forward when I try to fly it straight forward
Try different throwing methods, they make a big difference in the distance.

Question. How did you get the grid?
I made it with a heavier than normal paper, then disasembled it then i made another one that was flying better, fair enough u get the credit

It is an extremly fast airplane however having small wings makes it barely gliding when you throw it from a high place it points one the ground and starts to fall
just make flaps using the back of the wing , pull it up so then it will go up , but dont pull too much or the nose will point to the sky and the airplane will stall
