    Buddy makes blues a thrilling listening experience by being TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE! and the insane dynamics of his show set him apart from most other blues artists!

      Who is his backup guitarist?

    • @29sentz
      @29sentz Před 7 měsíci

      @@riffdigger2133 It's guitarist Scott Holt.
      The guy ruled when he had his chance to solo in songs with Buddy (saw them play live during this lineup era).
      Reminds me of Phil Palmer as backup to Eric Clapton in the 1990s (check this version of Crossroads where Phil practically outshines Clapton when taking the second guitar solo: czcams.com/video/9Lssx_IJWZ0/video.html).

      That's very true. The blues version originates with Buddy. Mind you of course it's really just a mash-up of Earl King's Let the Good Times roll and a fucking nursery rhyme...😂

    10 minutes and some is the closest I have ever seen BG play rhythm. Yeah, I know he played rhythm for Muddy and the old guys.

    266 views? Thats crazy..Buddy paid some big respect to Stevie by doing his song first and certainly Stevie always paid respect to the man who paved the way for Clapton then Hendrix and then Stevie. Buddy Guy is the greatest living blues artist on the planet..I guess its 267 views now.

    buddy guy. great guitar player, I mean I play guitar and blues and stuff, and Hendrix and buddy guy and stevie ray Vaughan and the like are my heroes. but if I was a black guy this is what is be into more like i mean racially, I mean all this gangsta rap and shit its pathetic, and I hate it when people say "oh well there nothing for young blacks to do its harder for them that's why they sell drugs and do crime (ABSOLUTE CRAP) it was a hell of a lot harder 50 years ago and hendrix and buddy were men of great character and talent and philosophy and there a plethora of black guys like this, normal people. its sad because most of the black guys ive met are not into this and don't know about these people. you cant learn a instrument. and learn about these people. you don't have to be a negative arsehole . I hate the liberals and the victim status people saying all this crap about nothing to do and how its harder for blacks and shit. it pisses me off
