Thank you so much for making this video. I can’t trust the pictures that New Balance puts out because they don’t look like the actual product and I couldn’t find any pictures of this. Just curious. When you were wearing this around the house did the shoes ever feel too warm or overheating?
I'm glad I could help! It was very hard to get a good grasp on what these would be like in person just from the pictures new balance posted. I never felt that they were not breathable, for the most part they felt just like any other 990. Im sure a little bit of breathability is sacrificed but not enough to make a huge difference
Yeah these are so much better in hand. I went from not liking them at all to thinking they are pretty special, but I would love to feel them in person before a cop, just to see if the leather is up to par with the level of quality you get from New balance with suede. How would you rate the leather on these? Like a nice boot put some leather polish on them after they get beat up and they look way better than new
The quality of them and the materials feel very high quality. I would say the leather is equal to the quality of the suede, it's a new balance 990 so you know they are going to be high quality. The leather on these is for sure the nicest leather I have ever seen on a sneaker! I can just tell the more you wear these and the more they get beat up, they will look even better! I highly recommend these!
Agreed! Got mine also. I love the subtle details, like the red edging around the leather center lace hold on the tongue, and the red American flag striping on that part also. An amazing looking shoe in person and I’m hoping they’re popular enough to convince NB to produce future variants. I know Sam won’t be able to hold back if they come out with a gray leather version 😂

The black midsole and outsole reminds me of the two ALD 993s. Speaking of ALD, they also just released 2 pairs of all leather 996. I guess that’s a new seasonal trend for Teddy
I don’t mind the leather because it sucks on how new balances are made of suede cause you can’t get them wet…these not having mesh tho is disappointing
Interested to know how weather resistant these all leather upper v4's will be. Couldn't stand the early images but what do you know? seeing them in hand/person has me thinking differently 🤔🫡
I really hope they hold up in the weather, that is a main reason I bought them! I will say they look a lot better in person and I think they are a great sneaker. They are just a little different than what we are used to.

Living in the northeast, I’m thinking about doing just a “crappy/winter weather” pairs review. Not ashamed to say my new Ugg Tasman weather hybrid slippers are pretty much the only shoe I really need until spring 😂 🤷🏼♂️ great stuff as always bro. Cheers 🫡

I have so many pairs of sneakers and I rarely ever wear them in the winter in the Northeast where I'm at in Pittsburgh. I have a couple pair of dope uggs myself I just can't get away from the warmth that my feet so much love in the winter. It gets damn cold here as I'm sure it does where you're at, I think you're in New York if I'm not mistaken. If we have one of those really nice warm weather winter days of course I'll break out a dope sneaker but uggs all day over here in the nasty ❄️🥶. All my Christmas pairs probably won't touch the ground until the spring .(I got the army green ugg Butte last year and they're actually pretty fire) I also grabbed the west sider neumel weather last season as well.

how breathable are they? Could they be good trough the summer?
Compared to a regular mesh 990 they are not as breathable but You could get away with them in the summer
