If you want to learn more about Fourier Transforms, check out these great videos from 3Blue1Brown and Veritasium. These videos helped inspire this project.
3Blue1Brown: • But what is the Fourie...
Veritasium: • The Remarkable Story B...
I tried my best to convey this somewhat complex concept in an easy way. In addition, I was learning as I went. Let me know if I made any terminology mistakes if you know better.

Thanks everyone for your patience! I had to learn a lot of Python and Manim to make this video. Hopefully I will continue to get better and be faster!
If you liked this project, please share it with a friend, it would mean a lot! Thanks!
I love your vids keep going
Kk I will ;)
This video style reminds me of 3Blue1Brown, really nice!
Yeah I used the Python package Manim, which he uses (and I think made, but I'm not totally sure).
If it was anything other than a rick roll I definitely wouldn’t have guessed it at 10% lmao
same
Man really Rick Rolled us 😭
lol
rofl
I don't think I'm alone in my fast forwarding to find the next song to guess.
3:24 , by the way.
You're welcome
I had Hard time understanding Fourier transform. This dude simplified to the core... Thank You soo Much....
HI! I really love this video, may I ask if you will going to createt a tutorial how to make these?
Nice video! Things made in Manim can look amazing if you pull it off right, Thats what you did here!
This is brilliant!
Great stuff
This is JaDropping.
Great video! Let's you see the big picture! 😊
Cool video
lol that 10% sounds like an ambient vaporwave masterpiece
Dat casual Rick roll tho
I shouldn't be surprised that I was able to tell the song in the first 4 seconds-
I got the intro song at 20% and it’s was immediately filled with grief
Came for the sine waves. Left with an earworm.
i got it at round 2
Even the video start, I knew that this video has a rick roll in it.
Why did I know that it was a rickroll before I clicked on the video
When you make a math/science video but need a universal song for demo:
Rick Roll.
How did you calculate impactful frequencies ?
epic
Hey, which application do you use to perform the transforms? I want to do something similar for my IBDP Math AA HL Internal Assessment and want to perform fourier analysis on a live version of a song and compare that to the studio version of the exact same song. Do you think this will work or is redundant?
I knew it was Rick Roll before hearing it.
How did you decompose it sir ?
0:11 ARE YOU FR*KIN KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?
I guessed the Rick roll at the one before last 30%
I guessed it at 10%
those are a lot of steps for just EQ-ing a song
This seems like a low pass filter with extra steps
It is, but very useful for telecom
Bro uses Levitating as an example and gets a like and subscribe

Hi
hello!
10% was was so obvious /:
That’s interesting lmao
