Boat Lift Removal Over Sea Wall

Here’s a quick little video explanation on how we utilize our boat lift crane (not shown in the video, used to lift the front up and started over the wall), old 8 ft.steel dock poles with augers as giant pry bars, and in this case also our foam floats and wheel kits to reduce the strain necessary to pry it up and over the wall with minimal effort and manpower. Floats and wheels certainly aren’t necessary (we had to wheel this lift down a long access road, then float 1/2 mile to the customer’s location, so we had them anyway) but having at least wheels can help versus the friction of the lift foot plates sliding on the grass.
Sometimes, using one of our foam floats cut into strips can be an excellent way to reduce the force needed to roll by essentially removing a lot of the weight from the lift!
