I couldn't agree more!! I visited Iceland last winter and this music is exactly the kind of rythm that warms your soul in the remote frozen landscapes of the island.

Reason might be because they are triblets. But You couldn’t have explained it better.Didint like that song when it won the competition but they really nail the performans part. So tonight these girls won me over and maid me really proud of them❤️❤️

Deserved better. It’s one thing for a song to tell a story, but it’s a whole other thing when a song can make you feel like you’ve been transported to another place. Beautiful folk song ❤️

Deserved better? Let me explain to you mate, euro-vision isnt about winning. Its about being there. Its not like Ukraine won cuz it was the best song. Winning Euro-vision is about sending statements. Liberal, free speech, HBTQ freedom. Its about taking a stand for people. This is the best song in the whole contest. And I love it. But the "best song" hasn't won since ABBA, with a few minor exemptions.

A sweet lullaby, written with a poem about the sun rising again after the long and dark icelandic winters. I don't speak any icelandic, but I felt all the warmth from this song.

The fact that Iceland went from 4th place last year to 23rd place this year was downright criminal. Iceland will forever be criminally underrated in Eurovision and that's a fact.
If they didnt win in 2022 whit this song which is the best song from decades ever participating to Eurovisons, we can even stop to watch that show, pure fake.
I don't think the Eurovision jury understands art, and the public definitely didn't recognize how good this song was. No matter the score, this song was the winner for me.
At least they qualified by both the televote and the jury, but I agree that they deserved more ❤

In Eurovision there are three types of songs: bad ones like the one from Latvia, Moldova and Georgia, good ones like the one from Armenia, Cyprus and Greece and then already excellent ones like Sweden, the United Kingdom and especially Spain. This proposal is on the same level as this year's Danish proposal. At a medium level. Just like Portugal. When I saw this group for the first time, an image came to my mind, they look like the typical plastic teachers whose hair smells like incense. Of all the proposals that Iceland has sent, this seemed to me the weakest and I am not surprised that they have been last. If Iceland wants to win, they have to get their act together. Like they did in 2009 with Yohanna and in 2021 with Dadi.

There is something magical about Iceland. Iceland was the first to recognise Lithuania’s independence in 1990. Hatari supported Palestine! And now these beautiful humans supporting Ukraine.
They can afford to be decent humans, sotting on their Island far away from the drama 😂
But also independence and the strive for freedom are the foundation of Icelandic culture, so they support others who fight for it!

This was one of my favorite songs and it's unacceptable that they came in 24th place, the theme this year was "the sound of beauty" and this was maybe the most beautiful song this year. It's just so magical, I'm not sure what genre it is but it's kind of country or maybe folk? I just love this, such a comforting song and these girls just radiate warmth and I want to be friends with all of them!❤️

This song deserved to place higher. It’s ethereal and the message is beautiful (I saw the translation). The girls’ singing was soothing… no screams, no high powerful notes, pure harmonies. One of my favorite, together with Portugal.
