Trying To Use Our Oldest Manure Spreader

Our oldest manure spreader has been sitting in the weeds for about 11 years because the frame was getting so rusted out. We got it out to see if it would still work and try to get some use out of it.

@@RuralMidwest that manure spreader reminds me of a particular motorcycle manufacturer.
If it ain't leakin oil, it needs to be checked and filled since it's probably empty. 😁

Out of curiosity, wouldn’t that motor oil contaminate whatever you put in there to be spread?

The majority of the oil runs off and gets worked around. It is not enough to effect anything. All the manure we spread on that field grew the grass really well.

Every one gets upset at a little oil. Dump some on the ground and the grass will be greener in that spot in about 2 weeks.
