Yolk forming, white spin extrusion, shell stamping, and packaging and delivery to the packing line. All on three shifts. Hens have to really work their butts off, all for chicken feed.

Eggs are highly nutritious. If u think egg are disgusting, think of where honey comes from. Or where caviar comes from. Eating egg has been part of human existence since chickens were domesticated. It's good source of food readily available without killing its source (the hen), without hunting for it like what the ancient people did. In short, it was convenient, delicious and nutritious that's why people never stopped eating them
