- Prince Harry doesn’t want the media to get what they want, according to TalkTV Royal Editor Sarah Hewson.
“This is about a stand-off between Harry and the media,” she told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“Harry did not want the paparazzi to get a photo of him.”
Ms Hewson’s remarks come after it was revealed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the Duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland, were involved in what’s been described as a “near catastrophic car chase,” according to their spokesperson.
Tessa keeps infantalising Harry and making the most lame excuses for his abhorrent behaviour...it's so infuriating

Nothing happened as they claim. That they had a catastrophic two hour high speed chase in Manhattan is beyond absurdity.
They said “NEAR catastrophic PURSUIT”. Yet unsurprisingly the media is only focussing on wordplay like only “catastrophic” and choosing to use the other synonym of pursuit (high speed chase) whereas people often use the word pursuit to mean “being followed” and that doesn’t necessarily need to be high speed. M&H are literally in a lose lose situation whatever they do or say because the media is a powerful entity and you simply cannot take it on without burning.
Imagine being *that* disconnected from reality. They're almost up there with Jussie Smollett as far as fictitious behavior.

Helen I think I read they left by the back door because the paparazzi wait at the front and there wouldn’t be many there for them. By going through the back they could have their own pap photographers there to see them getting into their cars etc (past the Hertz rental desk) and it would look more than it actually was. There’s always a motive for what they do.
I have said this before. I look forward to the day when no one will buy or want any photos of this couple. It will be so sweet when they go or come from a event & no photographer will show up.
I think everything was orchestrated by MM who hired the driver and told him to drive dramatically and hired the paps ( at the award show and in the vehicles that followed and ‘chased’ them for ‘two hours’) and decided to add in the change to a taxi, …if you have ever known someone like MM you will know they are always planning ahead.

Mental illness can be an explanation of someone's behavior, but not an excuse!!! (With some exceptions like psychosis,etc, where the people actually have no control over their thought and behavior). People are responsible for what they do, having a mental illness means you have a higher burden to carry than other people, not a pass to be an years-long (if not life-long) asshole.
Also therapy for anxiety is NOT to use it as an excuse. The therapy is to slowly confront your anxieties, try to keep calm and collected, be able to rationally analyze that your reaction is inappropriate to the actual risk present, learn to be responsible for and deal with your feelings. Using anxiety as an excuse to get attention and a free pass for temper tantrums leads to a STRENGTHENING of the symptoms. People like Tessa encourage his illness and work towards him never being mentally healthy!

If you could see "The Royal Grift" posted on You Tube May 23, 2023, it has a very interesting article featuring the fact that MM called the Paparazzi who come to photograph her; similar to the way Diana did -- but even more so. MM retains BACKGRID every time she wants a crowd scene -- a scene H is frightened of -- and he has not yet realized that his own wife is GASLIGHTING him.

Yes, Harry was born to a royal family that come with both duties and privileges. Since he abandoned his duties, of course, he forfeited his privileges. It never said that you can cherry-pick only the privileges. As late Queen said you either get all or none. As to retired prime minister they are protected because their knowledge of the nation security can’t be compromised. The two female guests are so lack of common knowledge, shouldn’t have been invited to comment on important topic. It would mislead the public.
Good point. A prime minister holds an executive position with the burden of decision. He is the captain of a ship while a monarch is the figurehead, an ornamental symbol.

I thought Prince Edward and Princess Anne only got metropolitan protection when they were doing royal duties. They don't have that protection when they are at home. It's not 24/7. Why should Harry get that protected when Edward and Anne do not?
