That Juggernaut duel near the end, lmao.
Haha yea, super lucky with that one. :)
Uac10+uac5 does 70dmg on double tap. In fact, it's pretty easy to build something with 100+ burst damage on this platform.
2x Uac10, 3x Uac5, 1x Uac2 and a ERmed is what I like lately. With 2x Gauss, 4x ac2, and ERlarge a close second.
It makes me suspect that the 5x ac10 build was not the most dangerous build possible before the nerf.
Yeah, I mean you can build so many things on this variant. The flavor in this video is just the PPFLD aspect of using the ACs over the UACs to make the damage more efficient and spread less.
The builds I like for the most for burst dps style so far are: 2x UAC10+3x UAC5 - or 6x UAC2+ERPPC - or possibly 4x UAC2, 2x gauss. Some also like 5x UAC5s eating the GH.
Ive been having good results with the 2xAC10 3xUAC5 Build
Yea, it's on the list! :)
Honestly I didn’t think the 5 AC10 Moonwalker was as OP as people think it is. I can think of a few mechs off the top of my head that are more OP.
I'd say it's definitely up there but it's also worth noting that the addition of the actuators is not nerf per se but fixing a mistake. They should have shipped with actuators. 😉
@@dukenedo5687 True.
If you are just looking at the raw numbers, it doesn't seem OP, because the raw numbers aren't the whole story in gameplay.
It was busted not so much because of it's alpha, but the sustain of that alpha and the fact that the ENTIRE ALPHA is pin point front load. It also does disproportionate crit rate compared to the other typical 50 ppfld setups as it has more projectiles to trigger that crit.
Sure, you can hit 70 alpha with UACs pretty easy. You can even hit 70+ on a Lasvom Hunchback 2C if you really want to. The difference is how that damage is dispersed. AC10s tend to have much more focused application than the other options. 70 damage doesn't do much when it's spread across multiple components, but 50 damage all on one component will instantly strip the armor off quite a few medium mechs, and is a serious concern even for assaults. Especially with the AC/10's cooldown being fairly quick compared to the other options for high PPFLD.
Those two slots made a massive difference in what the Moonwalker was capable of, good riddance.
>zero communication
>not coordinating with team
>not even hitting R to help teammates
That's a "yikes" from me dog
Hold locks for LRMS!!!! 😁
