Hey guys a few things I missed!! First When washing the face try and be mindful of the ears, and try to hold them down to decrease water getting in ear. Also I forgot to show on camera after putting in their ear cleaner take a cotton swab and clean out the debris. Also in between all sanitary cuts I make sure to sanitize clippers I forgot to include that part!! I also clean their faces and their bums with a rag after clipping them with the clippers. I do trim around their eyes because I do not like seeing that redness on their face, and their hair grows so fast some of it tends to get in their eyes. So, I like to make sure the hair is manageable for them as well. Thanks again for watching and we Hope you enjoyed this video!!!

Oh my goodness, this was a such a blessing for me. Thank you so much. My princess got a new Chorkie (more Yorkie than Chahuahua), and since she is a tween, you know who is doing all the care for the pup. I got a maltipoo puppy a month ago and this video really helped put into perspective what I should be doing!! My pup hates his face being touched, and I usually don’t have anyone helping me when I bathe him, so that is one of the struggles. Thank you for making this video!! Subscribed 🙏🏼

Thanks so much for watching and requesting!! Burts Bee's is pretty good. It is a little harder to lather up and I wish it had more of a scent, but it is very good for Zoey because of her sensitive skin. I would definitely buy it again. Thanks for watching again!

I use biogroom fluffy puppy and the scent is amazing 😉 it also last for a couple of days and of course makes them super fluffy!

I use DAVIS almond and honey shampoo and DAVIS Advance conditioner on my Yorkie, and it makes her coat so soft and shiny. I highly recommend it.
I love your kids & wet Yorkies too. Great video & almost exactly what I do. I prefer to trim up the hair before the bath so that I wash away any loose hair. Such cutie pies💞🐶

How often would you clean their ears wondering because I'm getting a Yorkie for Christmas
Hey! I clean their ears once a week when I bathe them.
I clean by Yorkies ears once every 2 weeks I personally think that’s plenty
What do you use to clean ears?
@@46henson You can use ear wipes for the penna (the external ear flap) and ear drops for the ear canal, like that shown in the video. One tool that some groomers and owners use are tweezers/hemostats to pluck out ear hair, but that's a bit of a controversial issue. I agree with Love of Grooming's viewpoint; she only plucks ear hair if the dog is a poodle (as they are prone to ear problems) or if the hair is super thick and/or curly and could cause issues down the road.
We pick up our yorkie baby March 31 if hes eating good. Me and my daughter are super excited!! Being this is our first.. Im glad we found your channel! Definitely hit that subscribe button 💜💜💞

Man I need to start doing all of that when I give my yorkies a bath. Lol, all I do is the shampoo, conditioner and I may do a teeth brush.

Were would you get all of washing stuff
I have Tourette’s syndrome so it’s hard for me to give my Yorkie a bath I normally take her to PetSmart (where I work) at and they do a good job! But I wish I can do what you do 😭 I love all your videos!! They help me so much with my little baby.

My yorkie is 12 weeks old and HATES when I give her a bath. Any tips? Your pups are so compliant with all of your grooming. I have such a hard time with baths, teeth brushing, nail clipping etc. Appreciate the advice in advance!
just remain consistent with it and try to praise her while giving her a bath. the more you do it she will get used to it

I am pretty sure you could. You may not need to condition her since she has an undercoat, but other than that I think you could follow it. Thanks for watching!!

Should you use conditioner on chorkies?
I would say yes! I use conditioner on my pups because their hair is so human like and they do not have an undercoat. So it helps to keep their hair and skin from drying out in my opinion. Thanks so much for watching!

Can you use any toothbrush or is it a special dog one?
There are dog toothbrushes! Pretty similar to a soft toddle type of brush. Or there are finger toothbrushes.
Just a small tip If you air dry your yorkie they can get really sick, loved the video and good luck with your channel.
After you brush their teeth do you rinse their mouth like humans do
can they swallow the tooth paste ?

Mighty Milo yes it’s made specially for dogs. U can’t tell them not to swallow it so it’s definitely safe if they swallow it

I haven't had any problem with fleas. Marley and Zoey are on trifexis. Bailee is too small for trifexis so she is on a topical flea medication and I give it to them every first of the month and so far so good. Thanks for watching!

pure paws, crown Royal or Chris Christensen is thee best shampoo for dogs!! I didn't much care for earth bath didn't do much for my dogs coat.

I have a new yorkie 9 weeks old and Ive had her for about 5 days I gave her a bath was too scared to wash her head and she still has a scent that I dont like im new to this dog mom life ive never had a dog but im scared ... I dont want to hurt her ears AND my baby tries to run from water I had to have been the first bathe overall
