  • "Cody Mooney is the Director of Performance for the mobility and recovery app, pliability, previously known as ROMWOD.
Cody’s passion lies heavily within the health and fitness space. Having been involved in sports from a young age, Cody started CrossFit when he was 15, following on to coach at his local gym at 16, where he fell in love with helping people achieve the things they never thought possible.
At College, Cody made the bold decision to pursue a career in CrossFit, instead of college baseball, and qualified for his first regional in 2014 at 19 years old. Cody became a two time CrossFit Games athlete in 2019, and was part of the second fittest team in the world.
Amidst the CrossFit career, Cody was searching for something bigger, and in 2018 he met Scott Perkins, pliability Founder and Managing Partner of ROMWOD at the time. Scott taught Cody the business side of a health and wellness company and Cody taught Scott the importance of proactively taking care of yourself.
Cody initially joined ROMWOD as an athlete ambassador and over time his role expanded to become involved in daily operations and team oversight. Working alongside Scott Perkins and using his deep experience in helping people since a young age, seeing first hand how transformative a proactive approach to movement health can be, Cody played an integral role in the evolution of pliability. Under Cody’s direction, pliability will help anyone to unlock their life and achieve their goals.
