the part starting near 11:15 is legendary... instant flashbacks from gta 3 at that point... game was hard as fuck for me back in 2001 (got the game basically right after the release, actually my mother bought it for me for my birthday, i wanted the game called driver tho but the guy at the store had recommended gta 3 to my mother and i'm glad he did :D) and i was a little kid back then like 7 years old lol... best memories are from gta 3 and san andreas :)))
i get my first pc when i was 12... my dad had installed gta 3 in my pc but i wanted San Andreas... man... i appreciated this game so much that when i played by angry i turned off and i saw thats a AWESOME FUCKIN GAME that ever seen in my life!!! No other gta's can do what gta 3 did to me ( ;=;)
Peterjason Aranez Soulwax FM is what I listen to the most in V, but it's a shame it has basically no trance! :\ If they made it more like Rise FM, or heck, like SA's SF-UR, it would be better.

I remember this as I was going up Saint Mark's hill with that banshee and that song playing while the sun was rising. I replayed that moment when GTA3 became 10 years old and I couldn't help but cry. Those were the golden years of my childhood.

Rise Fm was one of my favorite radio stations to listen to in GTA 3 and that rave mission that you take Maria to was the most action packed in the game. RISE FM FOREVER 2001!
I grew up poor and got to play this game in 2010-2011 on my step dads old ps2. I started playing gta 3 on my phone cuz of the Netflix partnership thing they have and I instantly got back into this radio station. Absolutely love it.

Neo the One on RISE introduced me to GTAIII. I remember driving of the bridge doing a power slide around a corner whilst the song played. RISE was the best channel of the lot.
This is the one! I'm telling my daughter how I used to just get in the car and drive around like a regular citizen who loves cheap insurance just to hear this song, about 20 years later!

I don't even like "electro-dance" music, but I just love this for some reason. At least it's better than Electro Choc, that's for sure. Also, what memories are you all speaking about? Just replay the damn game, like I'm doing with all GTA's before V comes out. Also, playing it on Android almost every day, it's awesome.
Rise FM was a special thing in gta 3. It just perfectly fit the game, the whole town. Maybe its just my memory but i cant imagine GTA 3 without RISE FM. I was like hmm 13 years when gta3 came out, but ithis radio still is in my mind. Cant even remember a station from IV, V or whatever gta. Soundtrack from 3 was so fuckin awesome.
Even though I listened MSX FM more, this station is what got me into Trance music. The last 2 tracks by Slyder were just instant Euphoria and bliss, it was truly something refreshing! This game got me into EDM all together. My favorite of all time and definitely a game to live on with the likes of mario and tetris and pac man... this game was amazing!

+Ashley Lewis the Physics Engine supported flight, but it was released in 2001, and had in the late beta phase a mission there you had to flight a dodo into a building, in order to destroy the intire building. That was removed after the events of 9/11 and also the dodo was cut down, to get more or less unflyable.

GTA III is the best game ever. :) I remember listening to Slyder Score song on it, it was like I was listen to heaven. I always was scared of when Andre-the-accelerator was going to be replaced by "DJ-Nickslip".
