Yeah, the music for the movie was written by Keegan DeWitt from the band Wild Cub and it will all be on the soundtrack this summer. His original recording of "Hearts Beat Loud" is on Spotify. The movie overall is really endearing, I saw it at Sundance and so many people in the theater were in tears by the end because it made everyone so happy. It's a sweet, happy little film.

Saw this at Sundance and it's so incredibly heartwarming and gives you the warm and fuzzies. And the music is pretty great too...

But, they don't give you a choice about whether you watch this propaganda. If the rating of the film warned me about this, I would choose not to attend. Mainly because I don't like politics with my entertainment. Which is what this is. And Hollywood wonders why their business has been in such trouble. Attendence has rebounded this year because they have discounted admissions. But those things are money losers, just designed to get the studios past the customers gagging on their SJW content. I don't use the discount cards. I just see way fewer films. Boycotting films that have an agenda:. Oceans, the Star Wars franchise, The Incredibles, and many others.

@@winomaster Why Hollywood is mixing politics into entertainment and agree it's not great (unless that's what the movie is, meaning don't alter star wars to make your political point, but some movies are nothing more than a political point). However, if this comment didn't mention this whole agenda of this film, having just watched this trailer and heard nothing more, I'd have never known. Just would have been another movie exploring relationships, with music at the centre of it -- which as a big music fan, I'm all about. Watch what you want, but unless the films shoving it at you, or ruining something that was already good (looking at Star Wars here), people should not read too far into it.

@@lexi219 It's called "identity politics" and their intention is to push this sort of thing into my face and in the face of impressionable young people. They believe they can force the rest of us to be more accepting of their bizzar notions. That it's ok for trans men to use the women's bathroom in public and for men to compete athleticly as women if they "identify" as such. These are political positions.
Their is an organization that is going around to the various Hollywood studios and telling them that to remain in the good graces of the LGBQT community, they will have to meet certain quotas for their productions. They must have so many of each of the sexual "variations" portrayed positively if they are not to face "condemnation" and political action. They are thugs and there should be a law against it.
