What a incredible weekend to be a Bryan Bros fan. The PGA really needs to get behind these two and make them a focal point as it will drive the younger audience to follow more PGA events. George is such an amazing guy, and the tour could utilize his following to boost viewers on all platforms. Unfortunately the PGA & the Golf Channel dropped the ball by not following George through his last round.
It's easy to say but CZcams golf has become a serious competitor to tour golf viewership these days. There's definitely some pondering and considerations to be had over how much (or little) you can afford to accomodate, let's face it, the competition in your field. I'm not sure it'd be the right thing for PGA to promote George and Wes unrestrictedly because you're sending people to their channels and the way CZcams works, you'll quickly be introduced to GoodGood, BobDS, Shields, Busta and all the other popular Golftubers. From a business perspective, it's not a straight or easy decission what road to take.
They may have left both boys out on purpose, in one of the interviews George talks about how they have filmed the whole comp themselves and will be showing the event from their perspective after - curious to see
Thank you, PGA Tour, for showing us what NBC/Golf Channel wouldn't - the most compelling stories out on Tour! Something has to give with the awful live coverage and never-ending commercial barrage... I feel for the commentators, who are doing the best they can.
Oh please...stop comparing this to youtube golf where they show every shot. I love George for sure but why would the PGA tour show his shots when hes 15 back of the leaders on Sunday? Also with it being a "minor" fall PGA Tour event, the tour has less crew than they do for a "bigger" event so they are limited what they can show on TV. George is awesome, but hes a youtube golfer hes not a war hero or anything worth the tour showing him being out of contention
The words from Palmer at the end was a severe insight into what it’s like to love something so much that it becomes your life and you’re good at it but most of the time you just don’t feel like you’re good enough. Poetic and emotional but super super interesting. What a weekend. Go George!

man, george is such a great player. he's more talented than wesley when it comes to ball striking. Wesley just has that mental edge, which has allowed him to compete at the highest levels. George is just too good of a guy to be as ruthless. regardless, it's inspiring to see George competing. he's finally believing in his talent.
Wesley seems to do well under pressure and high pay off moments. He needs to figure out how to lock in and play 72 holes like every shot is the most important of his life.
Really great production. I love the behind the scenes - getting to know stories, family ties, drama. This is how you really have people fall in love with a sport like golf. It is why youtube golf is so popular.

I've been working on being less of a cocky dbag, but Wesley (Wally) Bryan keeps sucking me back in because deep down they know it's a comical persona. Great insights into the tour. Glad these videos were created for the fall series & kudos to George for a good run in his 1st start.

I just watched my first PGA tour event in YEARS because of these guys. So fun to watch and root for. I even got the golf bug again! Don't tell my wife!
they wereh't paired up because it based on what time they finish the previous round. The aren't gonna make an exception for the Bryan bros. I love george but my dad and grandfather don't even know who he is as do a ton of people.
I meant the first 2 days they could have been paired up before the weekend. I understand that the slightly older generation might not know them the younger new generation will grow the game not the current or older generations

The Bryan's are the coolest family. It's not surprising that Wesley and George are so awesome. I'm surprised the tour didn't capitalize on their presence in this field more. They definitely got more eyeballs on this particular tournament by them being there.
