I have pain and illness my whole life and I'm learning to cherish what and who I have NOW and who I am regardless of what I can and can't do for myself or others. It's a difficult thing deal w every day. Can't put down pain and illness like addiction with drugs but both do create havoc in the mind. It's all how you handle it. Feel your feelings. This song was like a milestone to me when I turned 50 yrs old.

Today is 5 years since I lost my father to a drug overdose. Feels like it was 5 days ago. This song shattered me today. Greatest voice of this generation in my opinion.
My one true love was about to get a liver transplant and we all thought he was going to be able to be with us a while longer, but then he had a car accident and was was never the same mentally. He was with us for a couple of months, but he continued to get worst and eventually had to be put in Hospice. Unfortunately he passed away three weeks ago. Not a day goes by that I don't cry for him. If anyone deserved to bring more joy to people's lives it was him!! He loved Staind!! So this is for you my forever love, Johnny!! You will be forever loved and missed by many!! Love always, Roby

I’m a vet myself . 3 years over there but I never mention what I’ve been thru done , or even want any recognition for . Im home now , where I belong but willing to serve at any moments notice should my country need me . I know I’m better off then quiet a few that I had the honor to serve along side , at least I made it home how my family saw my leave . Hang in there , coming from a family of ones who served , I still have an uncle fighting demons from Vietnam & can say it never leaves us . My grandfather served in Easy company during ww2 & went right back to work building houses when he came home . Like he left for a vacation , life has to go on . Otherwise what’s the point of fighting a war. But I’d like to just give a mention of a childhood friend , rest easy Mikey you are missed more then we can mention .we have all taken a part in continuing your fighting spirit as “the protector “ & will always watch out for your fam .
