IMAP allows you to access your email from any device. Messages remain on the server and are synced in real time. IMAP can be used across multiple devices.
POP can only be used for a single computer. It downloads your Inbox to your computer, but not any other folders. Emails aren't synced in real time.
Here are some other differences between IMAP and POP:
->Location: IMAP messages remain on the server, while POP messages are downloaded to the local device.
->Syncing: IMAP syncs emails in real time, while POP doesn't.
->Devices: IMAP can be used across multiple devices, while POP can only be used for a single computer.

Maam for Non technicals it's really difficult to access playlist or to find playlist here, as there are so many playlists, so it's a humble request, if possible pls create a separate playlist for backbenchers2. 0 and if further playlists will be created for backbenchers 2.0 subjectwise it would be a lot better, just a suggestion although I m a technical person still I find it difficult to search playlist (extra 5-7 minutes) as they all looks same, so u can think how much problem non-technicals will face.. Thank You Maam U are doing a great job..

IMAP V/S POP3
1) IMAP allows user to see and read all the folders on the mail server, POP3 only allows downloading message from your inbox to your local computer then we can read the mail
2) IMAP allows simultaneous access by multiple clients while POP3 allows email is being accessed only from one application
Both of these protocols are used to retrieve messages from the mail server to the receivers system.
Both of these protocols are accounted for spam and virus filters. IMAP is more flexible and complex than POP.
Diffences :
* POP is a simple protocol that only allows downloading messages from your Inbox to your local computer.
IMAP is quiet advance from pop to allows the user to see all the folders on the mail server.
* POP port no 110 and 995
IMAP port no 143 and 993
* POP mails can be access from single device at a time.
IMAP mails can be access from across the devices.
* POP read the mail it has to be downloaded on the local system.
IMAP mail content can be read partially before downloading.
* POP user can not organize,create, delete , sync, rename mails in the mailbox of the mail server.
IMAP user can organize, create, sync, rename,delete the emails directly on the mail server.
* POP is fast and
