Yes students are allowed to work for 30 hours/week. Though, it will be challenging to find work in Vaasa as the city is small.
Bro I am already working on it and will apply in January for mechanical fitter. So, that's why I started researching Finland and A BIG FAT THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR SUGGLES❤ It's really helping us.
Well! mechanical fitter and cooking isn't my field...does there is any institute of computer science (Data science, IT, and software Engineer like that) and business (BBA, BA, BS). And having same facilities like Vamia. Facilities such as free tuition fee (and provide us all things that require for course), student Grant, home allowance, and others (joh k humy dynn gye ur ma miss kr gyaa hn)
Few things to clarify, VAMIA does not offer housing allowance, student grant etc. to international students. It is just tuition fees that you do not have to pay.
If you are coming for any other degree or course, you will have to pay for tuition fees and living expenses.

The traning programs that they are providing in Vamia i am applying after matric so does the studies consider vocational upper secondary education or not because there are many benefits for students of vocational upper secondary education. Kindly confirm that.

Competition is tough in Vamia, but please do apply right away once application opens and it costs nothing to apply so why don't you try and see it yourself. Experience is a positive point, but if you do not have it then try to show your interest in course some other way that you are applying to.

Can I appear for Duo Lingo English test and any point of time or do I have to appear only when the registrations are open. On the Vamia website it only stated that select Vamia as school as submit your scores but it doesn't tells that is it mandatory to appear after the application process is started or I can appear at any time for the same. Kindly help.
@@saahilkhatri4758 You can appear for test at anytime. However, it has to be valid at time of application. I would recommend you to do it before application so that you can apply asap as only 500 applications are accepted for review.

Assalam o Alykumm bhai jaan as ielts is now mandatory for bachelors. Only duolingo and ielts are mentioned on vamia website. As per some people only ielts is valid nit duolingo even in vamia. Now please guide wither we should opt ielts or duolingo if we are applying tonvamia.
Walaikum us salam, IELTS and Duolingo are accepted, do not listen to people if something is already mentioned and accepted by VAMIA.
However, IELTS is better as it is accepted by every institute so if you can do IELTS, pls gige it a preference over Duolingo.

Hei! I need some information.
Currently, I am taking a Finnish Language course. After completing this course I plan to take a Vocational degree (2-3 years) program. My visa status is "A" permit (Family tie, my wife is a student).
My query is, the Vocational degree program is under a "B" permit. So, once I obtain the course my permit will be changed to "B" or remain "A" as of my wife's permit type?
Will this 2-3 years vocational degree program be considered as a Diploma course? I came to know while applying for Citizenship this kind of study certificate is enough instead of appearing language test. Kindly clarify...

Hi,
If your reason of stay is dependent on a family permit then you do not need to apply for type B. However, if your ground to stay in Finland changes then you need a reason to stay. In that case, you would have to apply for RP based on your studies. (better confirm it with Migri)
TE is a good way to get into employment and if you learn language you would eventually find a work.

About the notarization of certificate
I did understand, they mentioned students should have to public notarized ...
Get inter certificate attested from board office. Notary attestation is quite easy, it can be done from lawyers sitting outside courts or civic centre.

Hi! I'm currently doing my Honor's degree in my county, but I want to apply at Vamia. My SSC certificate had been submitted in my varsity, they will not let me withdraw my certificate without cancelling my admission in my current varsity. So is it possible to apply with my HSC certificate only? Or do I need scan of both certificates?

You can apply with an HSC certificate (if it is 12 years of studies). If you have scanned documents of both then upload those as no hard copies are required at the time of application

I hope you will be able to get a partial or full scholarship as quite many students have managed to secure scholarship. So do apply for studies as it costs nothing to fill an application/apply for courses. Good luck !

Dear Waqas, given that one secures admission to a vocational program at Vamia Institute, will the embassy grant the study visa to such applicants? Because I have heard that the embassy usually only allocates international students the visas if they have admissions in Bachelors/Masters/PHD programmes.

I read it on Quora, and apparently, he was a Finnish National. Due to this false news, I did not apply in the last intake despite having all the docs and language test ready. 😭

Thank you so much for elaborating on this waqas. I will try my luck during the next intake. Just one last question. I was granted admission to the uni of Helsinki for a masters program last year without any scholarship. The fee alone was more than 15k euros a year, which was beyond my affordability range (I only have funds worth of one year living expenses). I was rejected by Turku and didn't apply to any other university. I am planning to apply to every public university in Finland and at the same time to Vamia Institute in January just to be on the safe side. Do you think it is wise to apply for permit B without worrying about a refusal on the grounds of being over qualified? After all, I have a Bachelors degree in computer science and relevant experience in this field.

@@imrannaeem5540 you have to justify it to Vamia that why are you interested in their programme. Admission ratio is quite low as many students apply for it. Keep trying for masters programmes and hope for the best. I would suggest you to consider Germany and France too. I have made video regarding study in France recently, you can watch it if you are interested.

Not for diploma studies, type A is for degree students. Check the following text from the official site,
"Your residence permit can be either an A permit or a B permit
If you are coming to Finland to pursue
a higher education degree, you will be granted an A permit, that is, a continuous residence permit.
a degree other than a higher education degree, you will be granted a B permit, that is, a temporary residence permit. B permits are also granted to exchange students."

Where did you hear about it? There is not such thing OR did you mean 3 years student residence permit that you will get for a 3 years diploma? If yes then you need to get admission first to apply for a residence permit.

You have to show money in your account. You have to do it once you are applying for RP/visa. It is not required during admission process

It is good to have around 50% in fsc but there is no harm in trying as applying is free. Though, you would have to pass an entrance exam and interview OR apply through SAT score to get an admission.

You can try your luck. Work on LOM and try to explain properly why you are interested in course, I have explained points video to include in LOM. Rest you have to nothing to lose as it is totally free to apply.

@@raziqzaman6703 How much did you pay to consultant? It was free to apply and you could have done it yourself. If you are shortlisted for interview or received an admission without interview than you will be informed on your email address that you have provided in your application.
