    I've only watched the idols have a friendly match at this.... the real sport itself is really interesting to watch and the coaches are very supportive.

    His back is his strong point, such a good basis for his ssireum techniques

    God this was fascinating. It's a pity non Western sports like sirreum (commonly practised in Korea), pencak silat (Indonesia), etc don't feature in the Olympics. People tend to think Western countries are just better at sports, but that's totally not true - look at how China started sweeping all the golds when a Chinese sport (ping pong) was introduced at the Olympics. Tons of people practise and perfect local (and not Western) sports since they're super young, but they never get a chance to shine and win on the world stage.

    • @antonylalancette1957
      @antonylalancette1957 Před 3 lety

      The deciding factor for a sport to be in the olympic is for it to be spread worlwide.... nobody would compete against the korean lmao cause nobody train to do that........

    • @sjjjswjmmsshc5269

      Philippines is great too at sports

    • @TheHothotheatlive
      @TheHothotheatlive Před 3 lety

      @@antonylalancette1957 not true at all! Many "common" sports were only played in certain Western countries, and were popularised worldwide simply because they were shown at the Olympics. Also, many sports are common throughout Asia (like Taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, etc) so it's not true there wouldn't be enough competitors. As for ssireum, you should check out the regular Ssireum World Championships that have tons of competitors from like 40 countries.

    I’m a fan of sumo so this is interesting to watch seeing how similar they are on some levels. This guy seems pretty good but his shoulders gonna be his greatest downfall of he doesn’t condition it. His style is similar to one of my favourite rikishis of all time, The Wolf, Chiyonofuji. I wish him all the best in the sport and hope he takes care of his body to fight well for a long time!!!

    들배지기 이런거 고유명사로 써주세요 설명을 들배지기(들배지기에대한 설명) 이렇게 쓰시는게 좋겠습니다
