When the game is finally fun again but it's the first week of the new tarkov wipe so I'm not playing dungeonborne anyways... ik this video is late but anyways comment if u think the august 15th patch was good or not. I think it actually is saving the game right now because I can actually have fun pvping instead of chasing down farming rogues who refuse to fight. but I'm curious what other ppl think.
I’m pretty sure I was the pyro in this video I remember seeing the DK chasing you and I was going to 3rd party but I didn’t bring enough heals and I remember seeing ur character name LOL
It's because rogue wasn't the actual FUCKING issue. Just a symptom of the root problem. Instead of giving rogues other options besides ratting, which is realistically their only option, they just removed ratting. So now, rogue is even more dog.
yeah personaly i played rogue with a friend only to loot and pve aparently if u escape and dont engage in pvp is your fault of 20 friends none as keep playing after the patch
I think the player base was actually going back up after it's drop during the loh meta but then all at once we have the tarkov wipe and the black myth game release on top of the school year starting up for a lot of people so there's a lot of other games in the same genres as well as lower player counts just in general. I checked the playcounts yesterday and noticed that even dark and darker is the lowest it's ever been right now so it's not really surprising. I'm not an expert so the game could just be actually dying right now but I think most likely it's going to be fine unless the devs make another big mistake.
Nope its not playable again lmao. Clothos Trial event flooded the market with legendaries dropping their prices to extreme lows resulting in lots of people having them. As expected, legendaries are extremely strong items that give an insane advantage. so now the game is practically unplayable if you dont have legendaries because you will get destroyed.
Very true and I also ran into guys who would have their team queue for trials with an extra guy with them that's trying to get put against them so that they can just TK their team mates and boost the flawless trial
You wouldnt see legendaries if you couldnt insure them. It should be WAY more expensive, but I enjoy seeing people using them. In DaD, no one runs legendary gear until the last few days of the wipe because they dont have to spend 10000000000000000000 gold on something that will get taken from them
As a Druid main, I think this patch was really cool. I really like playing with the new ability. The heal with the stam passive adds a decent amount of EHP that it makes me feel like I can finally compete in a slap fight. Clothos was also a ton of fun. I was pretty happy with it being quite soloable too.
yeah about that the will nerf the panther again and 0 heal for everyone that is in the circle of damage aparently they dint know people with heal would want to live more healing themselves
Wow you played against tomurice. He's #2 rogue player (or he was before he started throwing on stream). Insane that you beat him. If rogue was in it's previous state though that might've been a different outcome. Good plays.
I enjoyed the the twitch stream you did although I wasn't able to catch it live! I love your dungeonborne videos but I would be interested to see whatever game you're playing at the moment, too. :) DB is my first extraction game, maybe I should get into Tarkov? I enjoy the shword fighting, though.
I think it was a good patch and I agree with what you were saying about rogue, people seem to think that nerfs are permanent rather than just a temporary adjustment while they come up with something better. It also put fighter in a much better spot so dk and sm actually have some competition now
For sure. &Many classes only have their 2 default skills, even adding their new skill/spell options can completely flip the classes performance and optimization.
Great video! Like the discussion on legendary weapons, and i dont like the insurance them too, but im incredibly confused as to how "its the same in dark and darker" it does not have an insurance system if you lose the item you lose it forever.

will say the rouge nerf stoped one dumm build but thay dident fix the other one now galeforce rouge is everywhere just being a pain still crossbows are just so strong but the LOH nerfs helped but not got rid of the problem was during first clotho open all over there 1 out of 3 deathknights still had it
Rogue was op and now is just normal, pple think their skill issue solves with buffing his class or nerfing another class like Druids, can almost 3shot everything except 1500hp warriors but some people says Druid are weak
Rogues are definitely weak you can’t take almost any class in a fight without kiting with a crossbow they need to fix the rogue in a way that doesn’t make it so weak in every scenario besides galeflight kiting I agree crossbows on rogue are to much but they need to balance not just nerf it needs to be a nerf balanced with a buff somewhere else rogue wasn’t over powered because they were destroying people like Dk it was just stealing loot
you should take live commentary with a grain of salt because it's biased words I haven't put much thought into, which is something I think I did address at the moment as well, lol. I do think rogue is overall too strong at range but is also too weak in melee so it doesn't need a nerf just a rework.

less than 10k for a day is pretty bad for a game like this in 3 matches the lobbys where 1 vs 1 or 4 people and the lobby is for 16

What they really need to do is remove the time gates on legendaries and make them significantly more common

everyday near to be a death game u can keep the druid or the healer outside the circle with no damage but they nerfed potions and bandages xD
This patch was terrible. They held a rogue only event, so people played/learned rogue, then nerfed it into the ground.
