    One thing to note about the HyperX 60, after trying multiple 60% keyboards, is the placement of the FN key. You can hit/hold it with your pinky making it much easier to use than any other 60% I tried. I'm primarily using a 75% Azoth but love the little HyperX as well, it perfect for traveling. The Aqua switches are amazing, somewhere between a brown and a red.

    I absolutely love my G915 TKL! I bought the normal G915 at 1st but returned it for the TKL because I could not stand having the keyboard so far to the right to compensate for my mouse movements, If you do get one for gaming get the TKL. Also build quality is top notch other than there not being usb c for some reason.

    I've got the hyperx alloy core origins keyboard and oh man, jt feels so nice. I've had other keyboaards before, but all of them were cheap and made out of plastic. I never imagined that an aluminium keyboard would feel so good.
    And it's not very noicy when you write so for me it is perfect.

    I can honestly say ad an owner of a Logitech 815, it absolutely does take some getting used to a bit. Once you do tho, you kind of wonder how you lived without it. Lol. 1 thing you notice is a lack of wrist fatigue present in a lot of thicker, chonkier mechanical keyboards. And those clucky switches? Mmmm! I ADORE them! Just the right amount of clean click without the overbearing loudness of most blue switches. I personally recommend it. It also does come in tactile and linear

    I have the hyperx alloy origins(full size), its amazing, the only thing is after several months the control key doesnt feel as smooth as the rest, as if it needs to be lubed a little, not a big deal, but something i should mention. Another keyboard i use is a logitech G915(also full sized), it does have the clicky keys, but i do go back and forth between both keyboards, but i do like both. The only thing i dont like about the logitech is that the colors isnt the best when you go for a purple, it has way too much blue regardless of how you try to fix it, add a little red and it is more pink then purple(my setup is black and purple)

    i have the k70 mk.2 and I also now have the k65 rapidfire. The k70 is great for fullsize but I needed to maxamize my space a bit and opted to go with one without the num pad. I'll be bringing it back out of retirement when I move and I have a bigger area for my setup. I've never been much of a fan of razer keyboards. Their mice and headsets on the other hand are great! Steelseries also makes great keyboards and they use magnetic wrist rests! I work at a best buy location and ive tried out a few keyboards before settling in with corsair! There's a keyboard out there for everyone you just need to find what you like!

      I use to be on the same boat, never liked Razer keyboards and always had either Logitech or Corsair ones. Recently I decided to switch out my K70 with something smaller to maximize my already cramped deck space and I went with the Razer Huntsman mini. It's honestly fantastic and I've enjoyed every minute with it so far. I do miss the super RGB styling of my K70, but I ordered some pudding keycaps to maximize the Razer's RGB potential. Now the K70 is at my work office because every work space needs a killer keyboard and RGBs.

    I had a logitech low profile full-size keyboard for $130 and absolutely hated it. I often missed keys because it was difficult to differentiate the edges (the edges of each key were very slightly raised, but rounded and easy for your finger to slip off), and for some odd reason the keys stuck really bad even right out of the box. I literally had to put part of my body weight down on the right shift key to get it to press with a violent SNAP, and this had been an issue since the beginning. I replaced it with a cheap Havit keyboard and, while I miss the silence of the low profile keyboard, I don't regret stepping down in price at all.

    Really only the Origins 60 from HyperX is worth the buy considering the switches are factory lubed, and its a cheap 60% keyboard. However every keyboard including the Origins 60 are hollow, pingy, and have completely unlubed stabs. Also im not sure why one of them said the K65 from Corsair was lubed, y'all can check out any other review on CZcams and you'll be told they're unlubed. However seeing a list for gamers who possibly don't care to much about how the keyboard is made comparative to price is fair.

    You get a better keyboard if you build it yourself, get yourself a Royal Kludge RK84 as a base and order your preferred switches and keycaps off of Amazon (Doesn't have to be an RK84 there are heaps to choose from). I recommend the Akko Vintage White 35 gram actuation force, Jelly Black 50 actuation force, Rose Red 43 actuation force or the Vibrant Reds 53 actuation force. All of these are different and there are so many more switches but building your own keyboard is super fun and you can personalise it to your liking also its cheaper than a high end Corsair keyboard. I own a Corsair K70 LUX RGB which cost me $250AUD and I gotta be honest its garbage in comparison to a keyboard you can build yourself. There are so many mods you can do and a fantastic enthusiast community to get in touch with, I highly recommend it.

      There's no way the keys went bad in 3 months, did you spill water all over your keyboard? Should've had customer service swap it out, 3 months is extremely strange, especially if you had the optical switches

    The K100 is by far the best full-size keyboard corsair makes it just costs a lot more but you get a really nice padded wrist rest a scroll wheel and faster switches than the K70 has

    • @Emeem
      @Emeem Před 2 lety +1

      As a current keyboard enthusiast it is interesting seeing what the $100+ gaming keyboard market is like, especially considering I used to really want one like these a couple years ago.
      Currently, I wouldn't trade a $400+ custom for anything else.

    Why pay over $100 for a name brand keyboard? Just pickup a RedDragon for $45.
