i think i improved in editing since my last video..
i just thought this was a funny video idea for the old jammers who arent planning on getting back into the game to see how much the games changed since last time they played it.
i used abunch of game audios and sound effects throughout the video and the main background song is • Video

This is so painfully accurate. It really has all been boiled down to obtaining rares now. No clans in Sarepia, no one in the arcade, very few hosting any other adventures. No one sticks around to talk after making a trade. Heck, most bizarre to me, is that no one trades in WootMoo's den anymore. That used to be THE place to trade, and if not there, then Aparri's den. It's so sad. I came back for the nostalgia, and there is some, but I miss the diversity.

I found a way of still causing some fun and mischief, advertise a my shop that is literally just an overexpensive MP that says "GET PRANKED XD"
I use the claw machine in the arcade everyday to get plushies. I have over 600 plushies collected lol

@@helphelp_heee it has become mostly a trading game. I revisited the game and it's crazy because everyday I would recognize the same people over and over, that's how small the player base is now

I miss the energy that it used to have. I miss the clans in sarepia forest, I miss going into AJ school, I miss getting so excited when CZcamsrs like bepper and WisteriaMoon was online. I miss painting purple and blue wolves in the painting game, I miss asking to be adopted, I miss begging my parents for membership, I miss when everyone was terrified of fman. Why can’t we go back?? :(

I was just thinking this! I logged in today since a little break. And just remembered in 2015, how the forest was ALWAYS full. The fire was always lit and circled. I went today, absolutely barren. So sad :(

Today I saw like 30 people trying to break the ice, I went to some fashion shows, and went on a ton of adventures with this one group. You gotta look but there's still fun things to do besides trade!

Those old times where animal jam was about friend ships and fun. I will miss those days where i played around the map with my friends role playing, Going to events, Doing Adventures. Animal jam was my peak game at some point and ill miss it

Remember the old version of den shops? Someone would just put their unwanted den items around in a den, and everyone would just have to walk in and jump on the item they wanted. Think I fought with people over plushies a good few times. I miss those :')

Yesterday i was at a breaking the ice party in Aj, it was fun to get back on and still see people doing that! I honestly wonder if Aj will pull a club penguin and actually let the ice at Mt.shiveer break like how the ice burg was able to actually get flipped :)

when appondale was the trading central oml... ive been playing aj off and on for 13 years and just recently ive got back on after 3 years and the game and community feels so bland and barren compared to what it used to, being able to scroll down a few times on the server list, actual people in best dressed, the horse derby, and falling phantoms instead of bots, always having adventures to join bc everyone was hosting, being excited to claim xmas presents everyday during december, halloween and easter adventures, grahams workshop being full asf, fashion shows, sarepia forest rp, resturant and zoo and family rp, yes even tho its cheesy, getting on and talking to friends youve had for weeks or months, AND WTF HAPPENED TO THE DENS, the resturant den :,( i miss that sm

You can still meet some cool people on AJ! You just have to be rather silly. I don't care about rares, nor trading very often, but I will undoubtedly convince randoms in Jamaa to become orange with me, and then troll strangers online. Playing The Forgotten Desert as a marathon is exciting too. Put on a show in the background, and I can do simple repetitive tasks for hours. The mini games never get old. I've passed every level in most of them! Try to get to a million gems, or make a pretty gen! A lot of people have cool den items for sale in their shops! I love decorating my dens!
Getting older sometimes spoils the things I enjoyed doing when I was younger; the role-playing, the creepy pastas, the activities catered toward younger users, but ageing doesn't have to ruin Animal Jam! People worried about the economy are interesting to talk to, as well! They're typically older, insightful people who just wan't a touch of nostalgia!
Animal Jam will always be rather fun, in my opinion.
I always go into Brady's Lab for the potions.
When I joined AJ in 2014 you always had to fight with the game to get into Aldan Saperia Forest. It doesn't feel right not having to struggle to get in anymore... I remember players being mean back then but the childish kind of mean. The Pillow Room was always the following: A. Adoption Center B. Epic fights C. Advertisement central
Players now may feel unapproachable and meaner. The kinds of things that happen in Pillow Rooms now? **Virtually shudders** _Eugh!_ There were always gross players, probably since the game launched as there are videos going back to 2011-12 of gross players. They feel more frequent now for some reason! Back then, they would do the hearts, goo goo eyes, and blush emojis while hopping on another player [Usually wolves...For some reason] They would also sit on each other at times. Don't remember them ever saying much in the chat. Now these gross trolls don't seem to ever hold back! I saw some weirdo recite some vomit-inducing, incestuous crap. Why is everyone & their mom so dirty minded these days!? Then there was this tan panda with white splotches saying stuff that probably broke all of the rules at the same time. I scolded that player and another player told the strange panda to block me. o3o
Oh yeah and the trolls don't even try anymore. They just say controversial crap that everyone may ignore. What happened to this game? :D-(

i remember in like 2015 when i first started and i hadn't gotten a membership yet and this guy was friends with me and it was so fun.. we would roleplay as brother and sister and go on adventures and everything, i miss that. I wish i could still have his user so i could add him. (just hoping he wasn't like a predator and he was a genuine kid my age lol) i lost my first account due to inactivity which bffr i see so many people that havent been on in MONTHS and i was only gone for one month (i dont mean to vent my anger LMAO) but its also baffling to see so many items that used to be in shops suddenly be super rare now...
sad to see a game i was playing since i was 4 go in such a downwards spiral, tbh playwild was the fresh start the game needed, on ajc rn is only the old players whom grew out of rps and preffer to collect and progress, if u want the rps and actually talking and making friends, i recommend ajpw, u can still keep ur user and all, but its a fresh start. atleast u wont be made fun of for being 'nonrare'

AJPW has lots of roleplays going on. A while back I noticed a lot of snow leopards like to RP warrior cats in the snow leopard area. Not sure about now, but more recently I've seen people advertising RPs inside of Gabby's Animal Hospital. Also there's a lot of fashion shows. Some are good, some are... chaotic lol.

I stopped playing AJC when they removed spikes from TFD + other adventures cause that’s when the rarity for headdresses skyrocketed
It's so absurd. I heard they removed the spikes from adventures because it was affecting the economy, and then they downright messed with the economy themselves anyway. I remember when people would just trade for things they liked. Trying to get rare nowadays is a real drag, but it's also way too heavy of a focus for the entire game. It's really sad.

They removed spiked collars from adventure prize possibilities to fix the economy within the game, and ended up messing it up more lol. I remember when it was so easy to trade for a Founder's hat 💀. They also have to cater for their smaller player count in recent years. If they keep giving away crazy rares from adventures, and basically everyone becomes rare, that competition of trading and being rare disappears, and there would be no point in playing the game at that point.
I miss when we actually made friends and weren’t so money and rare hungry :( I only have fun on aj for like 10 mins the get bored and log off for 3 months

I tried to play animal jam again after so many years(I stopped playing because my account was totally lost on that data breach) and I'm so disappointed on how AJC AND AJPW are now just about accumulate rares and diamond/saph, you don't even need to chat, there's no porpoise to make friendships in this game anymore, even though wild works want to bring the attention from the teens, they're HORRIBLE at doing that, they simply forgot about AJC, which WAS the best game from the company, AJPW just gets boring over time because it's always about login to defeat phantoms, nurture your pet and sell stuff.
Like, there's so much potential on animal jam, like, making different animals having different abilities that are useful in adventures or minigames or going to the phantom dimension where you ACTUALLY fight against phantoms(not just press some buttons on the screen in the right time).
Not only that, it worries me how everything in this game is almost pay to win, it's not bad for a game having micro transaction so you can buy a special item but, it's really nothing special, just loot box.
Btw I'm from Brazil, I was trying to buy a member through the site and I can't buy one with Real(the coin from Brazil), but you might know that not all coins I'll cost the same, so that's it, if I want to pay a membership, I need to pay in dollar which would be actually very expensive.
Since wild works was sold for Nazara and they even tried to invest on NFT it was never the same.
Note: am I the only who thinks AJPW has somethings that looks like NFT? Like the wishing coins or alpha items? Idk
used to rp in this game everyday… had a bunch of friends and i was in a wolf pack, i was into the game’s lore and i would write about my roleplay endeavors and stuff everyday, i even started writing a ‘book’ based on the wolf pack i was in. i wanted a black long but it didnt matter too much to me. this new aj economy is just too cutthroat… wheres the whimsy
As someone who played animal jam back in 2015, I'd say I miss playing adventures with randoms, there is where I make friends and have fun with em. Going back there now was quite empty though players still play the forgotten dessert... I havent get to play it... I never get to experience membership lol

btw not so quick edit here i once had an account which was member back in 2015-2018, but since then ive lost it and cant afford it anymore. non-members have a really hard time in aj 😭 you go to a cool store and the only things for you are a ripped up blanket and a necklace. most OUTRAGEOUS difference though imo is the amount of animals you can be, TWO in total for non-members and... 1000 for members??? i cant care for this game as much as i did back then anymore.

It’s like this in ajpw to. Accept now no one trades in Jamaa township you have to go to other the fox only or artic wolf only areas to trade outside of famous jammer trading dens which the ones people use are aparris and fancyshorts I’d say there’s more genuine connections in ajpw but still it’s not as fun as it used to be. And at least aj pc has a understandable trading system. Play wilds is so hard to understand I don’t know how new players can grasp it because I can’t it’s so based on sapphires now which is wired because you can buy them with real money so it’s next to impossible to put value on things.

Came back after 4 years without playing and it's...sad. Like you cannot convince me that headdresses and spikes are rare...90% of the wolf population wears them Everyone looks the same. AJ is not about learning and having actual fun no more. It's a capitalistic hellscape. Now I just hang out at Sarepia on my own. AJC is so unoriginal and uninspired these days. Everything is about trading, rares and the "economy". Not gonna lie, sometimes I do wish AJHQ would literally release ALL the items in existence at the Shop at least once a year to break the economy and get people to actually play the game.
Best guess is the new drama central. Also I see people asking to be footed in jamaa township and hosting fashion shows.

They're actually pretty fun if you want to look at them. Also I think I played in some event that had been lookin for gold by using a pan and it took ages but I got a coat of arms or something soOOO

Honestly, I would have quit this game a long time ago if it weren’t for the Animal Jam Wiki that I edit on. And I would have quit the wiki a long time ago if it weren’t for the fact that I met my best friends on there. I wish AJ would update the achievements and adventures… that’d make me play a lot more.

Lag in AJC reflects off how fast of a computer you have. It has nothing to do with the game whatsoever I’ve played animal jam on 5 different desktops, laptops so if you really play games a lot on your computer consider upgrading
