  • In this insightful interview, Sunil Chhetri, the renowned Indian footballer, shares his perspective on the age-old question: Is success in sports a result of talent or hard work, or a combination of both? When asked about this dilemma, Chhetri eloquently expresses his belief that while talent may be a gift, it is hard work that truly lies within an individual's control. He emphasizes the importance of dedicating oneself to relentless effort, regardless of innate abilities. Chhetri uses a compelling analogy to illustrate his point, highlighting the preference for a hardworking player with limited talent over a talented player who lacks the drive to work hard. His words inspire aspiring athletes to focus on what they can control and not become discouraged by factors beyond their reach. Tune in to gain valuable insights from a football legend on the profound impact of hard work in achieving success.

Ultimately talent develops after hard work, but not vice versa. Working hard is also a talent, not all can do it, or they give up easily. Any talent has been developed or acquired subsequently, all are born as babies(shudras).

Talent ke Bina skills nahi aayegi. Hard work mazdoor bhi kar lete hain. Lekin kitna milta hai unko?

But even a talented banda hardwork na kare toh koi kaam ka nhi vo talent so, what u can control is more important.

@@nidhichaurasia9893 definitely agree. Both should complement each other. Hard work in isolation without talent/skills is not enough, and vice versa is also true.
