I must restist..... I must resist listening to Joe Bonamassa right before bedtime.
I either stay up and watch his videos for hours, of get his music in my head and
replay the songs in my mind all night.
saw you several times live at the Pistoia blues festival (in Italy), many years ago, you were just a boy but already great with the guitar! now you are even more so, and your voice is fantastic too!
Smokin' Joe, givin' away the store just because he can. I love how this entire video was composed, directed and produced. Tasteful and powerful. There is magic in those fingers. I enjoy his vocals now just as much as his playing. What an wonderful artist. The mainstream music industry could never bring us what he and his team has. Thanks to Joe and the whole team. You give us your best, just like an apple tree gives apples. It is a beautiful thing.
I really like all of the different qualities in this song..... Thumbs up to the Guitar God!
He absolutely has it over every other blues guitarist alive today, and I seriously doubt there will ever be another as good as he is.
Every bluesman is worth, everyone has his style
I’m 74 years old and have been mesmerized by you and your beautiful guitar music for 8 years. Distant Lonesome Train being one of my favorites, will you ever play it before I die?My mom lived till 92 but l don’t know if I will make a concert by then.
I’m finally getting to see this man in concert !!!! August 6, 2023 Red Rocks!!!! I’m so excited!!
People can say whatever they want, but Joe is the man. The guy can just flat out play.
No shit!
It appears he continues to practice. The talent he was blessed with and brings to the fire provides it's own warmth but with his willingness to invest makes him a force among giants!
"неговно"....лови Бро перевод на Русский, может где пригодится...
Amen !
HE CAN DO NO WRONG! THE GUITAR/VOCALIST OF THIS CENTURY.
This whole album is one of my favorites, Epic drums, legendary guitar, fantastic Bass lines and one amazing voice. Well done Joe and everyone in this band. Hopefully another Blues Of Desperation type Album is in our Future.
He's definitely the top blues guitarist alive today. No one alive even comes close.
Joe Bonamassa is the man, the face of the blues right now. deservedly so.
you got to give hats off to Kevin Shirley the producer for coming up with the drum Arrangements in making this album a fantastic album
Bonafide Bonamassa on stage! He is sooo good roadbluesKING! ...including also railroads 😄
I have seen Joe in concert six times. His shows have the same level of energy and skill you see here. Those who share the stage with him are equally amazing.
David I always has time for fans !
I do believe you are listening to the No. 1 guitar player in this world today!
100% true , he is a legend for sure, his voice and guitar skills are amazing ! ;)
No doubt about that whatsoever 😊
I agree a true bluesman.
James Baker 👍🤘👌
He is great! but even he himself Clapton to be better
I agree that he's the number 1 guitar player. The man is simply amazing, He simply blows me away!:I love this entire song but one part I really look forward to is the strong guitar strumming at the end! I know it probably has a name, like, I know the big inning of a song is called the "riff" but I know nothing about music's correct terms
Me and my dad saw him in December 2016 for my dad's bday. Was an amazing show we didn't leave our seats for 2 1/2-3hrs, killed it with this solo every other song. Will definitely go see him again!!!
I don't understand why people 👎 JB. His guitar skills are so 👌👌👌. I've seen him live 3 times (Nashville Tennessee) and his performances are perfection. You can literally feel his guitar in your bones. The stage shakes.
,😎😎😎😎😎
Saw him twice in Nashville at the Ryman. Both times incredible.
They are hating on joe
From 3:55 to 5:30 I cannot see how his guitar doesn't just self destruct and burst into flames!! Watching him in the zone is something I never tire of seeing!! Seeing him live up close is even better but this video is I'm not sure what. What an amazing song and Joe outdoes himself as usual.
Man, what can you say about that ?? That solo portion by Joe is beyond words to praise the beauty, mastery, and poetry of those musical ideas.
This is my new favorite JB song. The riff in the intro and through the whole song, the awesome driving drum beat, the strat solo, the vocals, the Gibson solo, and that ending! Incredible!
2 drums combo was a kick-ass idea. An amazing composition by Joe and the team.
It really amazes me that several people have come to watch this video and somehow marked it down. Joe, you are freakin' awesome and I want to thank you for helping keep this genre alive. You are a gift !
I saw Joe in concert in Vancouver . We came from quite a distance . It was so worth it . Especially now that the next available concert for any artist may be years off . Man this must be hurting their bottom line . Especially for any up and coming artists who haven’t made a mark yet and really need exposure opening for a big name .
The drumming is outrageously good!!!!
He is the best on the planet today, maybe ever!! And you can see it in his face, how he plays that he's so totally into it. Playing the very best blues guitar is as easy as breathing. Never seen or heard anyone close to him with the possible exceptions of SRV & Gary Moore.
Well there's always Eric Clapton & Marc Knofner, and i'll never forget Stevie Ray Vaughn, but wow Joe beats them all, he gives me goose bumps, the best I've heard, I could listen to this extremely talented entertaining guy forever,
I am sitting here listening and said to my wife "my gawd, I have goosebumps". I guess the next evolutionary step after amazing guitarist, is Joe Bonamassa.
Fantastic
Go to one of his concerts. 2 plus hours of pure blues POWER. He is FRIGGIN AMAZING.
Leads on strats & gibsons bring it on Joe.
the first time I saw him play on tv, I was hooked. he is amazing
'Perfect score' here....
That outro solo is....just.....
.....
(Seriously mind-blowing Joe !!!)
Heard him tell how this song just came to him during a 15 min studio break. But watch his expressions as he gets into his zone. Oh, wow!! I could watch him play like that all night!! He the man!!
Oh.......two drummers!!!! This song????? WOW!!!!
Of course I love Joe's music...but I love to watch him play and how he makes the sounds come to life.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell did I just witness? Joe's on Another Level plain & simple. I bet the Drummer needs a rest after that one. Fantastic Song.
There are some people in this world with a talent that just seem to operate on a higher level than everyone else! Joe is one of those people especially when you put a guitar in his hands! Right now there seems to be 63 people that don't recognize that fact!
Love it when the blues come out in his facial expressions when he's playing some hot and nasty riffs!! Kudos, Joe!! YOU ARE THE BLUES TODAY.
If Mr Joe isn’t the best guitar player in the world name one that can play as fast as clean on guitar and can write the best songs around. The man is a musical genius!
Dave Moore is close, RIP.
Jeah,He's the man to tell with his guitar what blues is about,i have a great respect into his music, awesome guitarplayer and storyteller, great bluesman with the right touch👍🤘
Joe Bonamassa ! Thank you Lord
Joe Bonamassa - "Distant Lonesome Train"
While I was living I did not realize how bad I was.
I felt the melancholy rise in my throat and what I looked at was pure indifference.
This extraordinary artist with his music came to my aid.
His rock guitar music revolved around my room (at high volume) and made my story
towards the borders of serenity ...
Music is also medicine,
he looks inside you and you talk with the emotions of joy ....
Like when you are about to start a holiday or a journey without destination.
Maurizio Spagna.yes, Yes, YES!! I listen (at high volume) and his music absolutely opens up my soul. Well, said Mr. Spagna!
OK, I'm a sucker for music about trains. Throw in a video including them, and you've really got my interest. But throw all that out. These guys know how to rock. I love the driving beat, Joe's voice, and truly awesome guitar solo. New fan!
I am 70 years old and have seen or heard all the great guitarists.Joe is the top man. These arrangements are awesome.
One of my JB favorites. I call it Angry Joe. Incredible classic blues rock sound. Joe is really quite the quintessential consummate musician. Love the dude.
Dude, this is the best, most talented guitarist alive. Seen him twice and had goosebumps throughout both concerts.
Wow! Sandy got quite the workout there....🤩
Joe you are the best because of the multi-technique and the multi-style combination you give in your songs and your albums!!!
I was surprised to see that Joe uses 2 different guitars during this song. Maybe the first one spontaneously combusted!! This song runs thru my head a lot. Joe never disappoints!!
Bonamassa is truly a great musician. It fascinates me how he conveys the whole range of desperation and sorrow with his voice. I got goose bumps listening to this song.
What MAKES this tune the driving / addictive / seductive tune that it IS ...... IS the DOUBLE Drums!!!! boom boom!!!
If ever a train could sing a song, it would scream this one. Trains put me to sleep as a child, all night long, due to train tracks right behind my house. By daylight, the trains inspiredme to drop whatever I was doing,to race to the tracks and wave to the train drivers. This music and words are voices for trains.
🛤🛤🛤🛤🛤🛤🛤
Everything is so clean, tight and professional, having Anton Fig on drums don't hurt none either!
Love it too !!!
Two piece drums
And that riff from Joe. Can't get enough of this album
Masterpiece
Can't get enough of his music
Absolutely LOVE Joe Bonamassa music!!!❤❤❤
Joe might be the greatest guitarist of the last 30 years...
Tony California might be?
Hell yeah! This song and indeed the whole album proves once again that Joe truly made a deal down at the crossroads!
Who the heck are the 61 people who gave this thumbs down? Do you hate great music ?
Distant Lonesome Train is an instant get you going track....... pun intended ... to the land of blues rock. Fantastic Joe.
It's got a really strong modern country sound which people are going to either love or hate. I would not call this blues by any stretch of the imagination.
tdunster2011 I don't care what genre it would be considered, is a great song by a great artist.
OMG I had goosebumps seriously this is like ... I have no words to describe this :D except maybe I LOVE THIS :D
Outro solo comes just from the gods (Hendrix, SRV, Rhandy, Eddie, etc). Joe is the best out there. Nobody plays like him
Joe does it AGAIN! Another hit for 6!
saw him play in Stockton California for my birthday 2016 had the crappiest seat when the lights went down and the show started I ran down the balcony Runway towards the floor and the door person was busy talking to somebody so I just rushed by and got 3rd row aisle seat the show was phenomenal I think he played nearly everything off the new album thanks for the Rockin birthday Joe.!!! accept the seats at the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton really f****** suck killed my back
Vety few blues guitarists can play and sing. Joe does both
Love the panning in the Burst solo. A lost art.
I just keep on finding songs I love by this guy. Love how how he shares so many videos and concerts on CZcams. One of the best.
Great ,song .BRAVO ...JOE!!!
Это для истеных ценителей настоящих шедевров !!! Браво !👍👍👍👍👍🎩
I’ll pay that he’s a prodigy I swear but humble as hell love’s to play and see your face and smile 😊 he play’s harder to please awesome performer 👍🤘🏻👊
His singing on this song is perfect. it fits very well. I like the sound.
This guy is just amazing. The blues did make it! I kew it I was damn sure about someone these years is gonna fill those great big shoes. You did it Joe YOU'RE the man now YOU really are. Thank YOU Joe.
The great Buddy Guy goes on :
"....Tell me who, who's gonna fill those shoes
They're the ones who made the blues (Muddy Waters, howlin' wolf, Willie Dixon, sonny boy too
Little Walter, Otis Spann, Jimmy Reed I say, magic sound)
Who's gonna fill those great big shoes? (tell me)"
Well Mr. Buddy Guy Mr. Bonamassa did!
Dude!!!!!
Unselfish, humble, and amazing.... a guitar lovers trifecta!!!
A shredder of quite extraordinary talent. Masterclass of guitar playing and songwriting. Love it.
First time I heard this song on the album it gave me shivers. That cranked Fender Tweed amp with a Les Paul on the intro riff is killer. Totally could hear the strat tone on the first lead work too. Damn fine guitar and amps Joe. Great playing. Love it man. Keep bringing the blues into the 21 Century.
Hey could you let me know which album this Distant Lonesome Train song is on, I have many & not one has this song on it, thank you.
Oh I just saw after the song which cd this song is on, so you won't have to tell me, ok thanks.
Outstanding song by an outstanding group of musicians, great stuff Joe!!
Y'all out done it this time, luv the different guitars n sounds n those Drums are KILLER
Thanks JB n Band for sharing with us really enjoy them .
The drums are super, aren't they?
+Cheryl Richardson
you want to listen to drums ?
try KISS TOMORROW GOODBYE of Deep purple
in Hard Rock Show
I've played drums in a lot of bands with some pretty good guitar players, but what he does at 4:30 is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen or heard. His drummer in the funky little hat isn't too shabby either.
shows what energy and incredible chops can make of fairly simple licks
Joe surpassed himself in this piece! Absolutely awesome!!!

How he moves those fingers is amazing on the guitar. KRAZY
Another fantastic song got to play it loud, you have brought so many people back to wanting real singers with a real band. Thank you just for that. All best from Australia hope u read the message about doing a song for us ex and current serving military members. As many done for Vietnam I think you could do a great job for all of our members. Who give there blood for the safety of t hose who cant.
Awesome song, mesmerizing performance. Joe's always top notch. We need you down here in Argentina.
Wow that was really good !!!
Stevie Ray Vaughn.... is still the best.... but Joe is a close second. Don't forget Joe looked up to Stevie Ray Vaughn, and I read an article where Joe said Vaughn was doing things on guitar that nobody could do. Just ask the great Albert King !! He never had one bad thing to say about Stevie Ray Vaughan. In fact even said he is one the best ever. This album here is definitely my favorite he's done. In fact this song is my favorite one that he does. I love the Remake he does of Seagull by Bad Company. What a great song that is. Without a doubt he is definitely the best lead guitar vocal combination out there
I love that it that people are still writing blues songs!
best Bonamassa solo according to me. He's overcome hinself
awsome energy
Bonamassa is the one who can do with his guitar such great things ! I just bastard from Joe !
Ive only known Joe a couple months , he consistantly brings it , some great blues and rock if he is # 1 in the country its deservedly so..
Wow! I've seen him five times and he just keeps getting better!
this whole band is super tight on a the same track no slacking here at all.
Yeahh
Супер! Какой же ты классный, Джо!!!! Гениальное исполнение! Удар в💥❤ сердце! Напряжение10000 В! Браво!!!💥
this album came out aproxamently 7 months after my son was killed. it sure describes how I was feeling.
What an amazing song, love Joe's voice so much ❤️
This is fantastic. Joe's songwriting abilities have definitely matured (not saying he was bad at songwriting in the first place I'm saying he's improved)
Joe's number 01 in my book!👋
I seen Joe in Spokane last year the guy is a real pro..steps on stage one minute early , played for 1 hour 30 minutes on an acoustic then said a 20 minute break 19 minutes later he’s back out with a bunch of les Paul’s and another hour and a half..perfect..and I bought a joe bonamassa wah pedal and he signed it for me
