If I were to make pasta / marinara sauce / ground beef.. Do you recommend doing the same as you did? (cook ground beef first, then add pasta/sauce/water into the same cooked beef, then run it) Orrr.. cook the pasta at the bottom, while cooking ground beef on the crisper plate?
I have used your instructions several times to make Hamburger Helper and always turned out great. Last night I got interrupted and did not getting the Speedi until it had been on Rapid Cook for 13 minutes of the 15 instead of getting it changed to Steam. I was concerned, but it actually turned out perfect m. Have you ever tried it without changing to Steam?
How do u personally drain the grease? I always drain the grease, but I've never made hamburger in a pot as big as the Speedi. I drain it into a can but don't see how to here.
There are three ways to drain the grease if you are concerned about it. You can use bread to sop up the grease or paper towels. But you could also use pot holders and pick up the pot and drain it that way carefully so as not to pour the hamburger out.
I love your channel James, but...I'm only half through the video. Too many steps to remember brother. I will have to play the video every time I cook it. I think maybe quicker to use recipe on box??? Maybe it' me I'm just tired and hungry...
@@CookinWithJames Thanks, I watched the Fried Chicken and the Fried Chicken Breast videos. They look good...I think I'll try some Legs and Breast with the wash this coming week. Thanks man !!
I had to throw my whole meal away using this method i used real cheese and elbow noodles i checked at 10 minute mark all my cheese was splattered all over tray and noodles were stuck on bottom extremely disappointed
@CookinWithJames I think it may be the speedi meals selection cause I made sausage and mac n cheese before but used the steam and crisp cycle didn't have this issue could of also been way too much liquid for real cheese cause I followed your recipe 1 cup water 2 cups of milk for 8 Oz cheese and 8 Oz noodles
Endless menus James! Enjoying all your post! Cheers 🍻

I have not. Maybe will try
@@CookinWithJames it was just right in the amount of liquid left as well as not sticking to the pan at all.
Im doubling the recipe bc well tons of kids, do I need the change the time or anything?
No. Just double everything and add extra cup and a half of water

Would you be able to steam it versus Speedi Meals cooking it?
Yes
@@CookinWithJames for the same amount of time in the video Speedi Meals + Steam = 23 minutes or less?
Ok I have one question why did u put it on steam after u had it on speedi meal?
So the top element wouldn’t turn on
@@CookinWithJames oh ok thank u for that info😊
Why wouldn't you just cook on steam for 13 minutes?

Lol. Ya . My other videos are easier less steps. Try the fried chicken. Just a few steps
