Is there a printed one? I don’t have kindle. Thanks😊
If one of your videos could have been 20-30 minutes this would have been a good one to do that on.
I don't have a Kindle, how can I access this information?
Don't have Kindle either . Where can I get a printed copy please?
Same question: where can I get a printed copy. Poor wifi, no kindle!
My wife and I live and work from our RV full-time. She's an English tutor online and I am a web developer.
That's awesome!
Love this!!!
I am loving your 'look' lately! It really, really suits you! And those glasses are 'the bomb' ! They look so good on you!
Thank you! I'm going to check out your book. I've been a remote contractor for 11 years, working FT as a transcriptionist, and I recently got an additional PT remote job setting appointments (which includes earning commissions). My hours are extremely flexible for both, but I do end up working way too many hours for my FT because I have to spend my life competing with too many other contractors to try to claim too few jobs (this part is unpaid). I work more than I ever did in my corporate job, and I'm tired. It's like I'm always on call, getting very little sleep, no benefits, and paying high taxes. I would love to be able to cut back but still be able to pay my bills, and I've been considering downsizing for quite a while.
Love this. I work remote and so many people think remote started during pandemic. I'm working on my content and love hearing about others adventures.
Bookkeeper here...75% remote, plan for the next year is to get that last client remote or replace with a new remote client...so excited. Wish I could attach a picture of this past summer...first trailer and first time working remote, loved it!
Cute specs! This got me thinking about my current job. A large chunk of it is taking care of the office when he goes out of town. I could have him just forward the phones to mine and give me remote access to our database! Oh boy thanks for getting my mind churning on that.
I asked my supervisor to work remotely and it took him a minute before he laughed. I am a nurse who cares for pediatric patients i their home.
There are traveling nurses.
Stop people with all this "I'm not good with computers!" stuff! LEARN! Take a class! Learn from a friend! CZcams tutorials!
In my area, senior centers and libraries have basic computer classes for free.
Terryl...library classes move VERY slow. Probably going to have to rely on tutorials or a college class
@@valeriehancotte-galan4790 lots of community colleges, technical schools and high school adult ed classes offer training.
❤❤❤❤ I'm turning 60. My dad was a programmer and I've been using computers since I was a kid in the 70s!! Computers now are so simple and so many apps have tutorials built in! No excuses. ❤❤❤
Certified RV inspectors & repair technicians are 2 suggestions that can be taken on the road
Thanks for the book and info😊
Great video Robin. Buying your book!
We love work camping! It is the only way we've been able to live on the road full time! It definitely isn't for everyone, but it CAN help people realize their dreams of full-time travel much sooner if that's their only option! ☺Great ideas!
Good info thanks
Thank you!
Thank you!!! For sharing and all the hard work to write this book.😊❤
Is there anywhere to purchase your "Work from Home While you Roam" in a regular book, non kindle edition?
Please tell us
until then, Kindle is a free app and the books are cheaper. check it out.
Excellent video, Robin. 👏
You gave me hope...Ive been praying for wisdom too 🤝💖🌞
I took one of your tips to do Intellizoom. I won't get rich but I bring in a few hundred a month while being a SAHG'MA.
Awesome!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fabulous video 👏 many thanks
Thanks for sharing AND for your passion for living full time RV!! Life is short!
Thanks Robin: very interesting!
Thank you Robin
Thank you TONS for the video! I purchased both of your books and plan for on … well, both! 🎱🌞💕🥰🌸
Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing
Excellent video! I'm going to share with my sister and my son. Thank you for doing this video. Love your glasses!
Your Great. I’ve been watching you since the day you started CZcams. You always have great information for all of us that are interested in going on the road one day. One day soon I hope to see you out there.
Robin, thanks for the updates! I am taking a class to be a VA . My back is not up to a regular job anymore and I am ready to get out on the road😊
Watching this from the beet harvest!
😉👍
Thank you Farmer. We appreciate everything you do. 👋👋👋💙❤🤍
Amazing! Beets are so delish!!!
awesome, thank you
Just bought your book Robin - you are someone that I trust as I know you research plenty before you put something out there and I do appreciate that.
Great video !
I'm currently a hybrid employee. As a recruiter, there are times I have to be onsite to screen and host candidates or manage our big events. I love the people I work with and feel that they trust and value me so it's tough to think about leaving. So, my big hurdle is figuring out where to park a rig during the days/weeks that I have to be in person. It's good to know there are options out there if/when I do decide to move on.
This is a great question. I, too, would need GOOD/reliable internet to do my job remotely.
Love your hair and frames! I’ve tried in the past to find work but was unsuccessful. This time, I will try to be more organized. 🤞
Great ideas! Glad I found your channel!
So glad!
I'm a little late to "the club" because I just found your videos on CZcams. Anyway, your videos are the best resource, hands down. Plus, you give a lot of useful information and not just look at my camper videos, even though your airstream is pretty sweet. Keep up the great work and happy camping ✌️
Robin, can you cover how you are able to pay for gas while on the road, yes you have your sources of income, but someone starting out the gas budget can be daunting. Thank you for sharing all of your experiences!
Thanks Robin
I'm not an RVer but I had thought I might give it a try and since I'm a single woman, when I found your channel, I knew I had to subscribe. With further research, I realized that the RV life probably wasn't for me, at least not right now but I've always been so impressed with you and your channel and all that you've done, that I stay subscribed and watch your videos often. There was a period not long ago where you hadn't posted in several months and I was actually worried about you 😜
Education, corporate training, instructional design. All great gigs for former teachers/multimedia gurus.
Thanks - the lifestyle is appealing
I do consulting work in my field (Leadership Development) and have transitioned to day trading futures. It's a big learning curve with tons of studying, using sim/demo accounts so I don't blow my savings, but the freedom it affords has been incredible.
How long did it take you to become consistently profitable?
@@backtoasimplelife About 6 months using ICT methodology, 4 months of demo trading, learning, and losing prior to that 😅
I work remotely now and love it.
Hi Robin. We traded airline travel for an LTV Unity in 2020 and, since we were first time RVers, we turned to CZcams to learn. We watched every single video you’ve made, and we learned so much from you. Thank you. You have our attention again with this video. We’re curious about the 43% less burnout of remote employees (10:53) and wondered if you might share the source you quoted? Thanks Robin!
I workamp in the park office but happened into a accounts receivable job with the owner’s other small business. It’s remote and flexible so I can do it when we travel. You just never know.
I recently purchased your book and to my surprise, I had enough digital credits to get it for free! I haven't had a chance to explore it yet, but I am thankful to have this valuable info. Thanks for compiling such a great resource.
I want to thank you again for your video maybe next year I’ll be at courtside with my diesel pusher
This HAS piqued my interest, Robin, thank you!! 🙂
I was an EBayer. A reseller, on eBay. I was making $2000. a month, over my expenses. My expenses was purchases, listing fees, selling fees, and shipping. But when I got on the road, it was harder. Cause I would hold onto the items that wouldn’t sell. Well you know as well as I do, that there isn’t enough storage for things you need, let alone something your not using.
Sales have been dismal for me and the folks I know doing eBay.
Find a local flea market in the next town you'll be in and sell off inventory that it's selling online.
You don’t make money on eBay anymore since the IRS has stepped in and started taxing us . I gave up
The great thing about my job is it was turned to 100% remote work about two years ago. During Covid, we were remote, then we were brought back into the office. Our company realized they were bleeding talent because of their "mandatory" back-to-office rule. Then they went Hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Then the Omicrom variant numbers started rising, so they sent us all back home again with a "review" a few months later.
They decided to just let us all stay remote with the option to come into the office if and when we desired.
I haven't stepped foot in the office in two years!
I love that I'm now 100% remote which will allow me the freedom to start the next chapter of my life journey: Full-Time Vanlife!
What's the job?
@@backtoasimplelife I work in Tech support.
So I'm assuming you have a bachelor degree? Or do you have some certificates?@@justinekingmaker493
@@justinekingmaker493 Unfortunately it would be hard for me to go remote. In the dermatology office I work in I have to clean the exam room, order and stock supplies, clean surgical instruments, keep track of client charts ( there are physical charts not computerized) and even clean the bathroom and throw out the garbage.
Your last video was amazing! 🎉
Thanks for another great video. About your stats ... I am 100% more likely to work on a weekend when I work from home!
Please make sure that your viewers know that there are check cashing scams with some of these positions. I'm not a RV'er but I have been targeted at least twice with this scheme.
I would love to work remote but am a Dental Hygienist. Actually, there are some services but remote is just developing
Love the hair Robin!
Hey Robin, would you please do a video about how much time you spend daily on maintenance of your RV/ campsite and also the vetting of / relocating to the next place to boondock? I'm interested in the full time RV life but don't want to trade a sticks and bricks for something that could be even more work every day
Thank u.
Workcamping is not for a lot of people but a lot of people are not digital creators either
People love the idea but in reality, just don't have the right personality for it. Some people need discipline, deadlines, and supervisors to get the work done. When you work for yourself it's up to YOU to make sure everything is done right and on time.
@@terryl.cooper yep
I live in Michigan and we criss that bridge once a year..there are many signs telling you where to go..and yes you have to throw out fresh produce..geez..open eyes
Question Robin- I am already remote out of my sticks-n-bricks. My job is heavy on voip calls and computer work. How reliable have you found Starlink to be? BTW- I love that WORK FROM HOME WHILE YOU ROAM updates in Kindle.
I work full-time and lead meetings almost all day long. Starlink has been a rock star.
Was talking to a friend about this very thing. Was telling you the desire that I like to live in a RV OR VAN LIFE full time. Just had questions on a job
Don’t any of the RV companies give the driver a gas card? The expense of gas would greatly cut the wages. I need to do some more research on this one.
I actually work in a position that unfortunately I cannot make it remote. Looking for a career change or something that can be fully remote with my qualifications. Ready to make the leap and being untethered!! Wishing everyone a good day! 🍁
Are you wearing the Soto from Pair Eyewear? Love them.
Thank you I have your book. I'd rather have a hard copy, even if I had to buy each year. I have it on my phone on Kindle, and I have a little hard time reading on my phone. I have read a little so far. I love the book, but haven't gotten thru very much of it. Thank you for writing it. But I would love to know if you ever decided to sell a hard copy. Your the best. Some day I would love to meet you. Be safe, Be happy.😊
Im working on Possibly making $200k on the sale of my House! .. doing some fixing up then Gonna decide 😒
Been working at home 21 years. Working on rig for myself
Robyn... this may seem "obvious" but could you do a video on how to get on the road? I have a fully remote job and am itching to hit the road, but I'm not sure where to start. Should I sell my house or rent it out? How do I get my bills in the mail? I just get so caught up in the logistics and I can't figure out where to start!
Sort her videos by oldest first. She's been doing these vids for years now and no doubt has one already.
I'm not an RVer by any stretch but my first response would be that most bills these days can be digital and switched pretty easily depending upon the company, plus I would rent out your home and use that to fund your RV life! Hope that helps!
Good motivator
Ive heard of solo campers working for DoorDash at whatever city the go to.
Mobile independence sounds great! Any ideas for Spanish Translation work?
and also for Portuguese Translation gigs? tksssss 👍💃
My company uses a company called Language Line for when we need interpreters...might be worth looking into.
Robin!! I watched your videos when I was full-time RV, 2018-20 ... It inspires me that you've stuck to the full-time RV stuff all these years!
I had to sell my Class B and get back to sticks and bricks ...
But I'd like to deliver RVs. I'd love to do that! Specifically Class Bs and Cs. Can you provide me with a link of some that might like to use me? I live in SC, but have some airline points built up if the right gigs came along. Thanks!
It’s in her book. The link is in the description.
❤❤❤ Thanku
Hi, So upon watching, I’m very interested as I’m a IATSE Union Journeyman Stage Hand who is full time in our Fifth Wheel.
Just found out I am having two surgeries on a knee and my hip in a row and need something to do for extra cash.
Can’t drive for 8 weeks so RV Delivery is out
Are these tips doable quickly for someone computer literate?
Is the book available in paperback? I only see Kindle...
Is the new book only available on kindle???
The virtual assistant sounds good .
Lydia Senn on You Tube has a course on being a virtual assistant. I have not used it but a friend liked it.
How can I get this book if I don’t have kindle, I’d really love to have it, thank you
I work for a credit card processing company. I just talk to business owners. Fill out a form. Work remote & set my own hours. It’s really great.
Which company?
I like your hair...
As a veterinarian, my job can't really be done remotely, but eventually I know I'll want or need to retire from clinical work, so I've kept a weather eye out for other ways to use my knowledge. There are phone resources like the Poison Control Hotline or doing practitioner consultations by phone for labs or companies that make drugs or pet foods or the like. It does make me wonder how remote workers handle spotty cell service in more remote areas. Do you go into town on work days, and save more remote travel for your days off only? Can you get better cell reception with a big antenna on your roof?
I was thinking simple work like surveys. Would I just need a dedicated email and PayPal. Is there anything else I need before I try out one of your suggestions. I should mention I am in Canada. I hope I can do this here.
Where can I buy a hard copy of your books?.. Amazon keeps showing only kindle
I will never work in the environmental that I worked in for 43 yrs again. Money was the driving force. I’m looking for a job the I’m going to enjoy.
Go for it!
Is the book only available as a kindle download. Can i order a printed copy?
Do you sell hard copies of your book Work from Home While You Roam or just kindle
I work from home now and would love to go full time in an RV. I’m finally an empty nester and want to save for a house with land. How do I start?
Like many that have already asked; I don't have Kindle and don't want Kindle. Do you have hard or paperback copies to purchase? I'm trying to find a remote job that I can do from home. I'm retired and live on a limited income; something in typing or data entry.
Thank you.
Is it only on Kindle?
How can I get your book.
I'd like to get your book but have a Kobo, not kindle and I don't want to pay for a membership like Audible. Is there any other ways ? Please add it to Kobo!
Kindle doesn’t require a membership
I have been searching for Driveaway RV jobs on line and I am having a hard time finding some? Right now we live in Ohio.
I have audible not kindle. Will the book still load? Does anyone know?
Can you do a video for people with pets or Esa dogs. I've been looking for remote customer service for 2 years and can't get a job even after graduating from IT school.
Is there anywhere that I can buy your BOOK in actual PRINT form?
I looked into delivering rv's about a year ago, and it was completely dead. There were quite a few videos from experienced delivery drivers showing that there just weren't any deliveries to be had.
Is the demand for rv delivery drivers back?
Cost of gas…..
if you notice the prices are skyrocketing that means they are selling. As long as you are not in FL you may find a job moving rvs
@@BM-if9zn What’s different about Florida?
I'm in a van,not an RV .that one is out for me .
Are you saying transport drivers have to pay for all the gas?
Your glasses are from ZENNI... right?? 8-)
How do I get a paperback book. Not on Kindle
The return to office mandates are not making it any easier.
